Nice cheap gems for tanks, there are better but stacking some of these can really help.

The Enduring Talasite (4 defense 6 stamina) and Enduring Chrysoprase (5 defense 6 stamina) are both straight upgrades to this gem.

For feral Druid tanks, the Heavy Clefthoof set has 4 yellow and 4 blue slots. if you're trying to cap out your defense rating, these will give 24 defense rating and 32 extra stamina (before modifiers.)

A cheap tank gem. While certainly not the best you'll get unless you're planning on having an item for a long long time it's a better value. That 1 extra defense and 2 stamina from the blue gem can cost you another 40g. I don't spring for blue gems until I'm going to have a piece for a good long time.

3 defense rating = +0.20292710% uncrushability for a protection-warrior at level 70.

This can be put into any colored or prismatic socket (so including red but excluding meta) but, being a green gem, you'll want to put it in a yellow or blue one. Doing so will help you get the socket bonus for whatever item you're putting it in.
