So I started this questline today. If you're like me and skipped side quests in zones, you'll be required to complete the selected NPCs side quests before they will share their stories.. making this a not so short questline for those of us who have yet to complete the other quests in the zone.

How have they not updated the UI for this?
It's so tiny, and takes forever to scroll through all of the icons.
I'm surprised that they added this to the game without improving the tabard customisation UI.

How do you change the appearance of the tabard on an alt? Do they expect me to do an hours worth of the same side quests on every character?

You'd think this is fully account wide...? LUL NOPE I did this quest chain on a season 1 alt that I don't play anymore it had all the stupid side quests done. The tabard itself unlocks into your tmog collection but you cannot customize it on other characters.... the customization NPC does not exist and the looks you customize on the caracter that HAS done the questline do not carry for your other characters....

Please tell me I'm wrong or blind. I won't be doing those god forsaken sidequests on every single character I intent to play....

The editing UI is so small you can barely see anything even when pressing nose to screen smh.

This is such a letdown. I had hope we gonna get something new, instead we get guild tabards, but of your own choice. The tabard has belt gap. Absolutely lazy. Not to mention the UI is so small you barely see anything.

As of right now Garyl does not offer the option to edit the personal tabard. She does sell them to your alts, but there's no option to edit it, not even on your main, unlike Rebecca Laughlin in Stormwind, who can do both.

is this bugged on horde alts? or do you have to do the quests on alts? if so, massive letdown. not doing it on 12+ characters.

100 DKP to the first person to make a page with all the tabard icons on it. It's rough scrolling through them one by one.

You can customize your personal tabard on alts without completing the whole questchain again

Guild Tabard vendors/designers are selling your Personal Tabard in the case you don't have one or if you lost your original one, after buying it you can edit the tabard on the Tabard Designers npcs

You don't need to have it equipped, the chosen design will continue to work if you transmog your personal tabard onto any other tabard you're actually wearing, so you can still benefit from effects such as increased guild reputation gains from Renowned Guild Tabard or teleports from Argent Crusader's Tabard

For horde alts you need to visit old Undercity for Edward Remington. This is until they fix orgrimmar one

Considering my standard tabard Insegna della Crociata d'Argento actually does something, I'm not going to be wearing this...MAYBE if they make it so you can add properties to it, I would reconsider.

May 10th, 2024 Hotfix:

Kessa, the Personal Tabard Vendor located in Valdrakken should now be available to all alts after completing the questline to unlock the personal tabard.
