It can only be obtained by Night Elf characters. At this time no other race get's it as an unlock for Nelfs.

As of right now you must be a night elf to receive the ensemble. Be warned though; you need to get through the story and have the quest to defeat Fyrakk first. Do not go into the raid and kill Fyrakk without the quest or you will have to do it all over again. You receive this as part of the story that continues after that quest.

Just an FYI, if you are interested in race changing/faction changing to get this set and are not already a Night Elf, do it BEFORE completing the campaign. I killed Fyrakk and completed the campaign on my Death Knight then Faction changed her (my mistake, I thought I would just be able to complete the missing quest), and now I cannot pick up the quest from Tyrande to get the recolored Raiment. I have indeed completed the Night Elf Heritage quest and it still doesn't appear. Tried and checked after reset, still nothing.

I will report back after killing Fyrakk again with the raid team if anything changes.

Edit: Killed Fyrakk on Normal again tonight, still no quest to obtain the recolor. I also cannot obtain the quest for the Epilogue. So, here we are.

Edit: No resolution so far, all they have offered is me submit a bug report, and to refund me for the faction change.

P.S. Currently 3 tickets deep with Blizzard on resolving this issue and they just keep referring me back here.

i did the campaign 7/7 on my undead and did not unlock this color on my night elf. i went ahead and did 7/7 on my night elf. that is the only way i was able to unlock this color. getting 7/7 on my night elf took about an hour and a half. so it's very easy to get, if you completed the campaign on another race.

Tbh, it's a shame. Everyone should be able to unlock it, just Night Elves should be able to use it. It's a bit pointless you have to do the whole campaign on the NE alt, if you don't play one as main.

While all characters who have progressed through the Guardian of the Dream campaign quest line can complete chapter 7, New Beginnings, the quest A Personal Offering is a special quest only offered to Night Elf characters. Night elves will receive this quest after they complete the quest Offerings for the Well. Other characters are not offered this quest, and instead receive the next quest in the chain, New Moon.

If you race or faction changed to Night Elf after completing the quest New Moon, you are not eligible to receive the quest A Personal Offering and will not be able to unlock Ensemble: Raiment of Amirdrassil on that character. If you have another Night Elf character who has not completed New Moon yet, you can complete the quest on that character to unlock the appearance for your account.

Just to confirm, for those who like me (who haven't yet gotten around to doing the Nelf heritage armour questline), you DO still get this quest and the ensemble when you reach the correct point while being a Nelf.

You DO NOT need to have done a single Nelf heritage quest to obtain this. Just have to be a Nelf.

(yes, I've been slacking of late with DF content and just now starting to catch up on all the story quests... in the wrong order for some it seems :D )

Other users noted the original heritage set goes well with the Sinister Aspirant's Weapons that you can purchase in Boralus from Marshal Gabriel for 80 marks of honor. I found this version goes well with the Dread Aspirant's Weapons.
