has anyone managed to find this thing ?, im at the coordinate next to the azure defender mentioned, but i can't see anything besides a weird scroll that cannot be clicked

Ok i have something that seems to be working only for me (Jewelcraft + Enchant) and not my friend (Tailor + Mining).
Waking Shores 23, 92.

I can click on it, but don't know what to do then.
It's a painting.

Jesus this was *extremely* hard to get. But on a quick note: There's a vase near the 3 npcs painting. It's the only one with some grass on it. It's a tall one with a small "light" on top of it. Point the camera completely down, mouse over inside the vase and the mouse will switch to a "grab" icon. Then you can get it.

Just wanted to throw this out there that the jewel is, in fact, in the lantern at 56.91, 43.69 and if you enable the "interact key" and spam it while getting the right angle at the lamp it will loot. I am JC/Mining for profession choices. Best of luck friends!

Scroll your camera so you can look into the vase from the top then you will see the crystal

Anyone having a hard time finding this, its where the 3 dragons painting are. But even then I got there I couldn't find anything to click on. When I turned my UI off to take a screenshot (alt+z default) I noticed I immediately had a glowing icon showing exactly where it was. Using interact key with UI still off got me a very easy loot, didn't have to angle my camera around or anything else.

After looking around for an hour or so I finally ran across something that helped me, JC:

"This item can be found in Thaldraszus (Coordinates: 56.9, 43.7) inside the flowerpot in between the pedestal with the bucket on it and an Algeth'ar Alcolyte that is painting. Turn your camera to a top-down view and you will see the item become clickable."

As mentioned by several others you have to turn your camera looking straight down to see it. It's only a few pixels in size you move your mouse slowly over the top of the pot to get it.

I use this for mining and fishing, but it works here too if you can't click it very easily.

Type these two commands:
/console SoftTargetInteractArc 2 (This will allow you to interact with the bobber no matter which way you are facing.)
/console SoftTargetInteractRange 30 (This increases the interaction range to 30 yards. Adjust to your needs)

And go into your options to set an interact button. Face the pot and click the button you just assigned and it'll auto gather the jewel for you.

Just use the Interact key, people.

1) Go to 56.91 43.72 as noted
2) Get close to the vase in the screenshots
3) Open Options --> Controls --> "Interact With Target) and set a keybinding

Press it and you will loot it. It didn't show as a treasure for me on the map but with Interact button it worked.

If you're having difficulty spotting it, hit Ctrl+Z to hide your UI. This makes the treasure sparkle and be easier to spot.

Use the Anomaly Detection Mark I spell. That will make this item extremely visible and easy to click on. Good luck.

I think they fixed it because it was in the middle of the three painters at /way 56.91, 43.69
Glittering, easily spotted from above and no difficulty picking it up.

it was in a vase below green stuff, now its on the table

Update: Most comments and the guide on Hidden Knowledge says this is in a vase, but it is now just a blue gem laying on the table in the center of the platform...Enjoy!

Confirmed on 5/19/23, the jewel has moved from the planter to the table in between the painters. It is located at /way 56.94, 43.61. I submitted a new screenshot with both the old and new locations.

As previously mentioned, Anomaly Detection helps immensely. However, the jewel is no longer in the vase, it is on table between the painters.

Lotta comments and I only saw one that had it right so I'm making a stand alone post for after you read too much of that stuff.

there's are 3 dragons painting on a carpet
it's tiny and very easy to miss
