The drop rate on this must be stupidly low, I've killed him (Rohzor) on multiple toons I don't know how many times and never seen it.

I see now that this drops off of Gorek also, which I've done at least 10 times too (though definitely not even close to as much as Rohzor).

I've also never seen it in the Auction House which is really strange. I've seen the pet itself being sold on the AH, so the plans must exist.

After farming Forgesmash for close to 3 months now, I think what we're seeing with these plans and the Black Dragon Touched Hammer plans are the same. Based on people's comments for that item, I suspect these plans will only drop for a Blacksmith who doesn't currently have them learned. This would explain the absurdly low presence on the AH--once a smith learns the plans, they're ineligible to get them again. Additionally, it means you can't use non-smith alts to farm it.

This may also be true of some of the other plans like the Frostfire Belt, the leggings, etc. I know it's not true of the raid recipes, but that could be due to the weekly lockout. Forgesmash and the Heroic dungeon bosses have a much easier farm wait time as compared to the raid.

Anyone know which difficulties this drops in? Normal, Heroic, Mythic, Mythic+(Season 2).

These non determined Drop Rate percentages don't bode well probably why they are going for 500k+

These are the kind of items that make me hate playing wow. I could play, raid, and pvp every season and get whatever I want. I could not play at all and come back 5 patches into an expansion and get catchup gear in a week that took my main months to get, or i could log in and NOT get to play the game because i'm sitting here at this rare spawn point anywhere for 15 mins to over an hour EVERY DAY waiting for it to spawn to not drop anything for 6 months straight. I get there are gonna be rare items and there should be, but why does every expansion have to have secondary pets and recipes and such that are just a million times more annoying to get than anything mainstream? It's frustrating and even if i wanted to buy them they are not even available for purchase on the AH. I haven't seen it there for weeks.. and even if it was 700k.. People pay less than that to pay to win for BOE epics. At least make the rare respawn fast like others have in the past.. its still 1 kill a day so why punish us and make us sit here and wait forever on top of it?

I haven’t received it yet, but I’m farming Gorek using the dungeon method with followers. Now I’ll tell you a cool life hack. If you are a blacksmith, and it is very likely that you are, you can open the door to Gorek's spiral staircase using a Serevite Skeleton Key. Don't thank me. Or thank me)
