As the tooltip doesn't explain exactly how this works, currently on the PTR it gives you a 50% bonus duration on Flasks, Elixirs and Food Buffs.
However these do not stack with any extra gains to buff duration (like the alchemist buff to flasks) so if you flask with alchemist and this applied to one of your items, it will last 2.5 hours.

The real question, is, if you have this on an item, use flask, then take the item off, do you lose the duration bonus?

While you wear an armor with this property, it will increase the duration of Food, Flasks, & Elixirs effects by 50%. If you remove this gear, it reduces the duration of those effects by the same amount.

So, you cannot wear this property, flask up, then remove that property and still enjoy the increased duration.

Its still pretty neat though, if you want to get a little extra use out of a flask or food.

I have learned the recipe but the progenitor enhancement slot on my alchemy stone is still locked. It says I have to further explore Zeneth Mortis in order to unlock it. Does anybody know what it needs to be unlocked?
Edit: After logging in again a couple of hours later the following quest popped up which solved the issue:

On mouse-over, immediately after popping the following:

Flask: Three Hours
Well Fed: Two hours

Well, this is just so blizz. Take an amazing item with a great little buff and make it completly useless since any of the gear you'd "put it on" is garbage.

Wowhead Tooltip missing some very essential info that makes this item much less useful.
"Usable with: Shadowlands recipes for Rare (blue) armor and accessories."

Good idea, but essentially not very useful. What armor will you make that will be better than the drop in ZM? Yet another recipe that will sit unused. Too bad.

So that duration buff is actually pretty nice economically. I built it into the Alchemy trinket that makes healing and mana potions work 40% stronger. Spiritual Alchemy stone i think its called.

Think of it this way. You make a stack of 20 flasks. 50% longer means you've basically made 10 extra flasks for free. It will last as long as 30 flasks. Same with food buffs.

That's pretty nice if you are big on flasks and food. (looking at you alchemist pandas.)
