I found the Otter crittershape in a pool in Bastion at 49.85 46.85 but I don't know how to interact with it.

Located in Bastion at 50,47, in the small pool West of Heroes Rest, down the slope from Gorgebeak . Swims in a circle for 5 minutes before dissolving into the water. Might be an hour or more between spawn times.

/hug it to receive the soulshape, and also because it's cute and deserves your love.

Found in a small pond in Bastion at 50,47. It spawned in the middle of the pond and started swimming around, /hug it to receive the quest/crittershape. It appears that only one person can /hug the otter before it disappears. I waited 53 minutes before it spawned for me. Fishing made the time pass by quicker :)

Otter soul swam in the center of the pool at 49 x 46 in a pool just below gold elite "Gorgebeak". Spawn took 80 minutes for me. Used /hug to collect. (While I was there I fished up the Frog soul shape in the same pool. Took only a couple casts. I'm max shadowland fishing.)

Just got this little dude! Waited for a bit over an hour, so spawn time might be 1-2 hours, or at least not exactly an hour. Spawned at about 49.72, 46.97 in the pond. Passed the time fishing and got the frog soul from fishing! Loving the critter shapes, so cute!

2hrs and 15mins camping, still no spawn. Second time got him at 1hr and 32 mins. "/tar lost soul" worked for me.

Me and my partner found ours in the middle of the pond at 49.8 46.8. Can't miss it as it is blue and moves quickly around. However the list say it lasts 5 minutes, it definitely does not. It dissapeared after a couple seconds.

Just got this while in a group with 5 people and everyone was able to hug and get the otter soul. Seems like it disappears once hugged but everyone was able to get it so it must just disappear for each person once hugged.

Anima Perduta this is the Lost Soul in question. I added its ID to Silverdragon hoping it would warn me. It was of very limited use though because Silverdragon did not trigger until I moused over the Soul. Possibly if you're showing friendly npc name plates (I wasn't), it would trigger just by being nearby.

It is in the lower pool. Don't mess with the elite bird It almost immediately respawns and always pulls you into combat.

How are people camping this Lost Soul for longer periods of time?

Guides indicate Spectral Feed is required to get the soul, but it only last for 10 minutes.

Do you camp the soul and then fly to Revendreth and back, hoping that it's still present, or does Spectral Feed last longer than 10 minutes?

Waited for ~1.5 hours for the spawn. As soon as I hugged it, it despawn and there is a automatic quest that appears on my log. HTH

I didn't see anyone else mention this - the lost soul for this doesn't appear to be targetable. As in, I was repeating /tar Lost Soul, and nothing happened. You have to go in and click it and get within range.

Has anyone seen the otter soul since 9.2 dropped? Been camping him at the pool at 50,47 for....quite a very long time, on and off, with no luck.

Edit: It took over an hour, but it finally spawned. Camping on-and-off definitely doesn't seem to be the way to go for this guy.

Took 2 days worth of camping to finally get him. Long passed its reported respawn timer. I think his timer is no longer what is reported here.

Spawned for me at approximately 7:28AM PST for U.S. server. I had looked previously a couple minutes before and it wasn't up, shocked me right as I was logging to see it. I'm mentioning the time in case there is some connection.

I was fishing while I waited and got the Frog Soul in about 38 minutes and the Otter Soul 5 minutes later. :D

My Rare Scan didnt pick this up BUT i was able to hear the otter soul "running around" because it makes the same sound as a night elf whisp. Its clearly distinguisable from the rest of the sounds of the zone so you can easly alt tab and work on a project or homework while camping!

I have camped the Otter soul as a lvl 57 hunter from 10am - 4pm and not once has it spawned. Has anyone else seen the otter spawn since the last patch?
