Strange that this item was added while there's no other changes (yet) to BWL in 8.2. Unlike other versions of this item, it appears it doesn't start a quest. Weird.

This item only drops for Paladins in place of the orignal head which no longer drops if you have turned in the quest. It's needed for obtaining Cuore della Corruzione which unlocks the hidden artifact appearance for Ashbringer.

It is safe to delete the item if you don't plan on unlocking the appearance this week or if you have already unlocked it. You can always get a new head by killing Nefarian again.

Will not drop unless you have started the legion class order hall for Paladins. I only had a few starter quests done and had the ashbringer, then it dropped the first attempt (a dozen or so attempts before that farming everything else)

Don't be a fool like me and confuse Blackwing Lair with Blackwing Descent. This won't drop from Nefarian in Blackwing Descent - you should go to Blackwing LAIR, inside the Blackrock mountain.
