You can proc different stats with the same armor slot. So it may be worth the 5 mana pearls to try again before you upgrade if you get stats that are less than desirable.

Edit: Also, just proc'd a socket on gloves and legs.

Before you upgrade a Benthic Cloak to it's maximum iLvL, consider spending 5 manapearls to re-roll a new one with more desirable traits.
Mine says "Equip: You have access to the Murlock traders' special stocks".
This is the cloak I will upgrade to max iLvL, but you might find one that appeals to you more.

on a few toons i went with the version that lets you loot random fish from mobs in Nazjatar, i've noticed however Viper Fish and Mauve Stinger aren't included, because that would just make too much sense.

Coming here to figure out what to spend your excessive collection of manapearls on? I suggest reviewing the following!

helm ~53g
belt ~36g
Chest ~71g
Cloak ~55g
Feet ~ 55g
Bracers ~36g
Hands ~36g
Legs ~72g

Divide the amount of pearls you plan on spending by 5. and then multiply that number by the value above and thats your raw gold income!
Example:
Prismatic Manapearls: 1000 or 200 items
200 Leggings x72g = ~14,400g!

Now your manapearls earned doing all those meta achievments for the crab mount can be used for something!
