I had no clue what this was. Did a Google search and came up with "Nomi is hosting a Pandaren Chili Cookoff in the Valley of the Four Winds between the Alliance and the Horde! The first to bring Nomi all of the required ingredients wins" from Blizzard.

Haven't seen any good descriptions of this brawl here even though it's been out for some time, so I queued a few of these and this is what I figured out. This is not a tactical guide more like a quick start guide YMMV. Some parts of this might change in the future/next rotation, these things are prone to being patched (e.g. # of ingredients to win).

This is a 10 vs 10 brawl/relay race that has a lot in common with capture the flag battlegrounds like Warsong Gulch. IMHO if you can deal with Warsong Gulch you'll be fine in here.

Breakdown of the Rules as they show in the LFG tool-tip:

Gather ingredients on the farm, and bring them back to your cook:
"Ingredients" are similar to a flag in how they work, they are marked on your mini-map. Pick 1 up and carry it back to your cook (Pandaren standing by a big kettle) back at your base. It is best to have a player that is really good at flag running do this part (e.g. A Druid) a lot will be attacking you. Ingredients can be knocked off of you or picked up if you die, this happens a lot when you get near your base, be careful!
Your base is located right next to the opposing factions base, having a few players guard outside here between the 2 bases is a good idea.

First to gather enough ingredients wins:
As of this writing (2/22/2021) the first to get 30 ingredients to their cook wins. There are red and blue progress bars on the top of screen letting you know the score.

Defeat the opposing factions thumper to gain their allegiance:
This "rule" is so vague I don't even know where to start, it's not even mentioned in Blizzard's official site for this. These things are very useful (IMHO necessary) and curiously not well documented. Here's to lettin the cat outa the bag! To "gain their allegiance" find one in the field, it will be marked on your mini-map as a gold star (like a rare) it will be a hostile NPC, kill it to near death and it will turn into a vehicle that you can hop in. It has many useful abilities like AOE fear and a melee range "kick" (button 2) to knock opposing players into the air so they drop their ingredients when they land making it easy for your team to grab/steal. AFAIK there is no defense against kick, it works on any player. Some players (e.g. druid or mage) will root you in some way so you can't kick and run around, work-a-round: stand in a choke point and time your cast over time (about 2 seconds) kick for when they run past. Additionally try to stay near your team, once they figure out what's going on they will focus fire to try and kill you. Any down votes this comment gets is probably from people that have been on the receiving end of this thing, yes it's that good/annoying.

Here's a link to a reddit post describing a common strategy, it is cheap but effective. Basically let the other team run food and you kill/kick just before they get to base, grab their ingredients and run it the last 2 yards to your cook.

Few tips:

Always try to help your team out like you would in WSG. If someone dies and you can pick up the veggies pick them up and hurry your butt to the pot.

The space between the Allys and the hordie is not that big so they will try ( either side ) to stop you from reaching the pot, I've seen ally's go and stop the horde from going up the little ramp towards their pot. This becomes farming sometimes so get ready for that.

Either side can go and get the veggies on say the hordie side and vise versa.

If your Night-Fae and a hunter you will love this Brawl when its up, I would put druids on veggie runs same with mages and hunters like I mentioned , Heavy hitters like plate wears can really cause havoc.

Healers if you can stay at the pot and heal your team, I've seen a two priest kick butt keeping their team healed, Shammy heals can really enjoy this too use those totems !
