Run down the hill until you're in the "Valley of Ashes" and blow the horn. Fly your drake around the Valley, pressing one and aiming at the mobs. It's faster if you fly around and find the big squadrons that are patrolling around. 1 shot can kill upwards of 30 mobs.

Then fly your drake back to Morgan's Vigil!

High Warlock Xi'lun says: We are nearly prepared to start this battle, brothers. Thorg'izog, what is the matter? Why are you covering your butt like that?
General Thorg'izog says: WHAT? No reason... it's just... something is very wrong with my stomach. I think it's something I ate.
High Warlock Xi'lun says: Can you still lead your troops? Do you need to promote one of your sergeants?
General Thorg'izog says: Timan fell from the Pillar of Ash. Othana was eaten by wolves. Gorlop fell in lava. And most of my sergeants were killed in a freak cudgelling accident.
High Warlock Xi'lun says: I see. Well, do the best you can. And Neeralak, why are you all black and smoky?
Dragon-Lord Neeralak says: Those imps you had delivered... they woke up and started shooting fireballs at everybody! It was chaos!

This quest, like many others, exceeds expectations. Blizzard really outdid themselves with Cataclysm.

Skipping the cinematic can bug the quest. Best to see it through to the end.

The cinematic bugged out for me and I didn't get to see much of it. I did a lot of staring at the sky though :(

If you are doing this quest:

Do not skip the cinematic. Waiting around only sometimes corrects it. It also places you in a different than normal zone, and thus there will be no mobs, npcs, or flight paths available.

Do not alt-tab out of the game during the cinematic. This bugs it so that when you tab back it, it loops the most recent 1-2 second portion of the cinematic, forever. Abandoning the quest will stop this loop, but not restore you to the normal zone.
