a few things to note about this boss:

on heroic he has a whopping 700k+ hp

when he casts radiance (marked with a raid warning) LOOK AWAY it stuns damages and may cause a wipe

He uses an ability called vengeance which when triggered causes 100% crits even to def capped tanks

oh and if you have a person who can cleanse magic or trinket should pop it during a stun otherwise you get hit by a hammer for 14k BUT if you do break the stun you can throw the hammer back. if ya kill him with the hammer you get achievement (faceroller)

otherwise tank and spank easy really he doesnt hit much harder than an average heroic boss easier than paletress really

For getting the achievement:

Wait for him to throw his hammer of justice and dispel it.

Then the player that had the hammer will have a new action bar with the hammer of the Righteous ready to be thrown.

So just press button '1' and do 15k damage to Eadric.

Rince and repeat until dead by the hammer

You can use grounding totem to prevent the stun on his hammer.

It may simply be me, but have any other tanks had the experience of him landing crits on you? Though I'm 5 over defense cap, Eadric still manages to crit me for around 10k once every few runs. I'm not sure if it's simply a bug, or if it's similar to Keleseth's problem during the first few months of WoW, where he would be able to crit tanks no matter their defense rating.

Just checking to make sure I'm not the only one out there. A moderately geared tank won't have a problem with the crits as they're few and far between, but being crit on by any NPC as a tank is something to note, so I thought I'd share it.

Aha, I've looked around and it doesn't seem as if anyone's realised the extra fun tactic about this fight!

Regarding catching his hammer, you don't need to be cleansed at all! If he stuns you with his hammer of justice, hover your mouse just in front of your character, and spam right click-When the hammer comes at you, you'll catch it, which is how I believe the fight was meant to be played.

I've yet to get hit by a hammer using this method. Try it out. Eadric is one of my favourite bosses simply because of this!

This boss is one of the easiest you will fight in this dungeon.

He does have alot of health, but for a good group, it wont matter at all.
The tank starts by getting his aggro once the mobs are cleared, and he does nothing special.

Seconds after starting, he prepares to cast radiance. You will notice that the warning tells you to shield your eyes. In other words, face your face away from him when he casts it, or you will be hit for holy damage, and in addiction walk around confused for a couple of sec, nothing really hard to deal with actually

He will target a random party member with the Hammer of the Righteous, which will cause painful damage to the one hit. But if you haven't been stunned by hammer of justice, you have a small chance to catch the hammer and use it against him, causing him to be hit for the damage instead.

This is actually the only things he will do during the fight, there is nothing more to mind actually.

hes "Hammer of Righteous" is very powerful, you can see the earth is going up... loks pretty cool and there come a flash of light :)

If you grab the hammer and hurl it back, it's capable of critting Eadric for ~30k dmg, unlike when he's the one throwing it off

That guy is so cute. "May I run away now?" :D

On a side note, whenever I defeat him I think "That was for making me fight stupid scourge guys on jousting horses every day with all their stupid flying scouts around them who eat my shields and cant's stay dead for a minute." Yeah revenge feels good >:)

It is the awesome "Radiance" of his uber-fantastic hair which stuns players during this fight. Fight fire with fire by using a paladin tank. A simple /hairflip just before Eadric's Radiance will make the tank to reveal his own incredible, conditioned bangs, causing both the tank and Eadric to become stunned by each other's glory for a short time. Be careful not to face the group, because the others may be permanently blinded by the combined revelation of the light and the heavens.

His mace if any one is wondering is Torch of Holy Fire. Oddly hes a tank Like class (Shield an all) yet the Mace is a Healers Weapon. Then again it does drop from K.T (and nothing else) So he must really be there Champion lol.
