This is believed to be the best in-slot by comparison cloak for many melee DPS classes with the expansion of 3.1 Ulduar content. No similar cloak has been found to be equal to it in stats bonus or attack power gains.

It has been discovered to drop from 25 Heroic Hodir. This data is from the Public Test Realms, and as such is susceptible to change prior to Live server release.

Given the item level, this cloak appears to drop from the hard-mode version of the Hodir 25-man encounter.

Had this drape drop for my guild today. It was given to a ret paladin, the other two contenders were me (rogue) and an enhancement shaman. That had to be THE most stupid and unthinkable loot distribution in all my years in WoW that I've seen. I would very much have liked the enhancement shaman to have it, but nooo... give it to the class that benefits the absolute least from it. I do realize this isn't constructive or anything but I would like some opinions on my comment.

It depends on how much hit rating you have. If you are struggling for Hit, the go with the one with hit, vis versa.

None the less, i want them both! MS + backup :D

To clarify, this is much better suited for Enhancement Shamans than Drape of the Faceless General, due to the limited gains we see from ArPen (specifically it's lack of affect on our magic damage).

I say this not to imply that Shamans should get priority, but just to be taken into consideration when making end game gear decisions.

Seeing as Drape of the Faceless General seems to have gotten a huge nerf stat wise, is this the best cloak in Ulduar for rogues?

Not 100% sure about what is the best cloak from Ulduar for rogues/Enhance/hunters/whatever, but this is by far and away the ugliest cloak from the instance.
