Do note that it sells for 13g 33s 37c, or 133337. Truly leet sword.

I would suggest Hammer of Quiet Mourning instead. Can get this a lot earlier (level 74) and I prefer the stats on the mace to to this sword:

Slightly higher dps
+2 strength
-2 stam
same def
-14 parry
+15 dodge

The dodge rating equates to a higher avoidance chance than an equal amount of parry rating.

To follow on from rizzy's post, or indeed https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=44736
which is a reward from the same quest as https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=44734
the choice then being wether or not you needed the defence on the mace to get to 540 or were there already and would prefer the avoidance in parry and dodge on the sword.
I chose the sword from the earlier quest and am not impressed with this as an 'upgrade' quest reward at 6 levels later (granted available 3 lvls later) but I at least have the option of using this reward if I need the defence due to armor updates which may have less defence on them.

Just to throw this out there Eternally Folded Blade is a direct upgrade and although yes, it's from a dungeon Halls of Lightning, Volkhan to be exact, it's lasted me for a while on my Frost DK. But then again Peacekeeper's Blade won't drop for me. Eternally Folded Blade is basically this with all the stats upgraded a bit. If you don't feel like questing in Icecrown I'd grab this sword.

P.S. Don't downrate me because it drops from a "hard" dungeon, or whatever. Just showing you a good direct upgrade.

If one cannot get the Eternally Folded Blade from regular Halls of Lightning, this weapon makes a great substitute for entry-level Heroic tanking.

I chose this as a reward from Tirion's Gambit, and when I wore it check out my stats, my crit went from 22%, down to 0.16% (or something very close to that). Anyone else have this problem. I decided not to keep it anyways, but I just thought it a bit odd.
