Is there any Aldor version of this belt?

i wear this over the Girdle of Treachery even (equipped with 2x 4agi-4hit gems), because of the amount of +hit i lose by unequipping it (.76%). on certain fights i take the extra crit Treachery gives (+16.1 AP, +.15% crit), but for a majority of the time, this blue stays on over the epic, probably until SSC/TK gear or so i imagine...? Gronn Stiched Girdle is nice, but suffers the same lack of hit.

Both this belt and the Aldor Ring (https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=30365) are fantastic for cat druids... if you want to put the time in to it,it is possible to do the Aldor chain, get the ring, and then turn in Basilisk Eyes to defect to Scryer... you can then do the Scryer version of the chain and get the belt as well.

I couldnt find any solid information on the Blizzard forums that this was possible, so I decided to try it... it works just fine (other than being probably too much work), so figured I would post it here for confirmation.

I was on the Aldor version of this quest, but the quest rewards for rogues sucks so I dropped it. I've been considering the switch to Scryer to try to get the Socrethar's Girdle. Now, I know the switch will take a long time and I know I need a certain level of rep with Scryer to get certain quests, and I know I that if I've done an Aldor quest, I can't go back and do the equivalent Scryer quest. So, my question is:

Can you start an Aldor quest chain and then finish it up on the Scryer side?

Let me reiterate, I have NOT completed this quest on the Aldor side. I dropped it. So...... anyone know?

This is one of the top early high end PvE belts in the game for a rogue.

Take a look at the Girdle of Treachery https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=28750/girdle-of-treachery in Kara.
Exclude the two sockets and you're losing overall 4ap and 20 hit and 8agi worth of crit and dodge. You gain is 12 STA + 2 sockets. If you socket it with two +8hit gems you wont get the bonus and you'll still be 4ap and 4 hit and 0.2% crit short of this blue.

If you want to stack it with two 16ap gems and get the 4 agi bonus you'll be ahead 32 AP but still short 20 hit and 0.1% crit. 20 hit > 32 AP any day of the week.

Now look at Gronn-Stitched girdle https://www.wowhead.com/cata/item=28828/gronn-stitched-girdle from Gronn.

Excluding sockets you start off 7 ap, 20 hit, and 2 STA lower than this blue. The crit from AGI from the blue belt is 0.575 vs 0.91 (20 crit rating) will be a loss of .335% crit.

If you try to socket with two +8 hit gems you've got something that is IMO equal to this blue belt.

To conclude, lern2math before passing up on this belt of zomgwtfpve.

Rogues, you need to understand the following in PvE!

40 AGI = 22 crit rating = 1% crit
15 hit rating = 1% hit

In terms of pure white melee damage 1% hit is exactly equal to 1% crit.

By adding 1% hit you're decreasing your chance to miss by 1%

0% damage(miss) vs 100% damage(hit) = 100% difference.

You've got a 24% (24.6% on level 73) chance to miss!

By adding 1% crit you take away a normal hit chance

200% damage(crit) vs 100% damage(hit) = 100% difference.

In terms of special abilities affected by lethality 1% crit is obviously better than 1% hit.

I have this belt on my Rogue main, and it totally kicks ass. The agility is great, of course, but the +hit rating and attack power are what really make this thing shine, imo. I don't think I will be replacing this until Girdle of Treachery.
