It's a scythe, just like those seen in Diablo II. I sincerely hope Blizzard implements more, and even meaner versions of these.

i just got this today cause it was SUPER cheap and omg i love it, the dps and mass dmg it does is insane, ive had many glancing blows of 300 and a few nice execution criticals of 1500+. if you arent a big fan of 2h swords i highly recommend this item

This is what I assume is the only way a non-warlock can get a scythe for a weapon.

I had this drop in hellfire ramparts, the random enchant was, . Awsome for my Death knight =P

It's got the same graphic as the weapon from the lock quest, got one of these of agility, it's got 37 agility on it, surpasses my IBS in all but stam, and melee dps I think, but I don't mind that, and my IBS has a +15 agil enchant on it, so this is pretty damn good.

There is one on the AH that has +29stam, +19agi, and +34 AP this seems like it would be better than the Icey Barbed Spear

for a hunter ne way this thing totally beats ice barb spear i found one of the bandit took me 10 seconds to decide whats better needless to say im very satisfied ^_^

Bought this in the AH it had 19 str and 19 agi and 29 stam, for my hunter.

This is WAY better then Ice Barbed Spear easily

What level was the Hellboar that dropped this scythe? there are level 56 hellboars in Blasted Lands near dark portal but i presume we're talking about lvl 59 hellfire peninsula piggies
