If the leg armors patches (nethercobra, nethercleft) no longer work on BoE legs when 3.1 rolls around these will become the best 49 plate DPS leggings.

With 3.1 out these are the best dps legs available for war/pally due to the loss of leg armor kits. You gain 10 crit, 6 stam and 26 armor for a loss of 10 agi from silvershell.

Anyone know If these had any changes in 4.0.1 or 4.0.3 I have killed the princess at least 17 times and they have not dropped, had these dropped for anyone on patch 4.0.3? Or have these been removed from her loot table?

Yeah, yeah, these are revealing on female characters, so what. The stats on these are great, my warrior used them all the way up to lvl 40. On one character, they dropped on the first kill, but it took me 7 attempts for them to finally drop on another character.

If you're farming this item; I recommend following these simple steps:

0). Make an equip-set that is completely blank (no items equipped) and call it "X" (it really makes no difference what you call it). Also; make sure you have enough bag space to hold all your equipped gear (and a few extra spaces, for good measure), before you head to the instance.

1). Head inside Maraudon via the "Earth Song Falls" (Inner) entrance.
2). Head to the Princess, kill her, loot her...
3). Equip set "X" (or whatever you named the blank set, in step 0).
4). Jump off the nearby falls and let Rotgrip kill you (face your back to him, to speed this up a bit).
5). Release and run back to the "The Wicked Grotto" (Purple) entrance, to res yourself.
6). Re-equip your gear, step back out of the instance and use:/run ResetInstances()
7). Repeat from step 1.

I've done this boss about 5 times. Last time, I just saw the ring drop. Warrior went crazy over the ring and the 2h mace. As me being a mage, nothing good drops in this instance for me.

after doing this on and off from level 49-53 I can say this instance isn't worth the time or effort to get these leggings when at my level you can get armor just as good even in green. and after killing her over and again with no drop I've given up. All I can say is don't hold your breath. cause remeber its only 1.5% drop.

ive ran mara enuff times already probably somewhere between 15-20 times . those legs ar a bugger to get. every roll i do in mara is under 20 and i have lots of trouble getting stuff. lol im running mara till i get them even if it is a 1.5 percent chance GRR

i got the pants and gatorbite on my first ever run in maraudon, it was me lvl50 pali and a 58 warrior, one rouge, one druid and a locke.

When the warrior asked me if i wanted in he said i could have all plate :)

The mace from landslide also dropped but that went too the drood which i didnt mind cos he did a excellent job.

third run and i got gizlocks shield

Got them on my first run through Mara. We had a 60 Mage with us who knew where all the bosses were. We killed every boss in the place. It was by far one of the most enjoyable groups I have ever been with, especially considering the last two group that I had been with were disasters. There is nothing worse than being in a group with a bunch of inconsiderate jerks who spend the whole time complaining and trying to ninja items that drop. My advice to whoever reads this...be polite in groups and think about how you would want to be treated...remember if you don't get it this time, you can always come back later and do it again...it is not the end of the world and it is only a game. Thanks again to the 4 people on Bonechewer that I ran Mara with...it was great.

Got them tonight, first drop! Our server got hit with a mega lag spike, so we lost our 60 tank and 55 druid. A 53 rogue, 52 priest, and 53 Pally (Me) ran through this instance; piece of cake. Died once on Princess, got her down second try.

If you want to get these leggings in one run, and you have patch 1.11, just reset the instance after you have killed her then she'll be there again.

I got these legs the helm and the gun all in the run i did today. It was my third time killing te princess very happy! : )

Group was kind of pissed because it was warrior night in mara lol.

Well guess I've had bad luck farming Princess for these pants. Just did my 17th run through Mara, no pants yet. She's gave me her scepter (2h mace) like 5 times in a row, lol. Talk about bad luck. She's also dropped ring, the regular blue dagger, and everything except the pants, and the epic dagger she's supposed to drop. 18th run will start tonight once I get done with my BBQ at my pad, le'sigh. =(

I got these leggings and that ring on the same kill of the princess, they both dropped at the same time. I was the only platewearer so i got the leggings ofc, and i won the ring on a 3-man needroll. Plus i got the one-handed mace, and that one-handed sword (with a spellcrit increase) on the same run, on greed roll. And we didnt even kill all bosses. I feel lucky!

On my second run these things dropped, the Scepter dropped on the first one. I let the other warrior in the group have them since he let me take a nice cloak with stamina and nature resist.

I got it on my first run... We struggled a little to get the Princess down, but we managed to kill here after a few attempts. And then it dropped! =)

Yesterday when we killed the princess she dropped it, the Paladin on my group rolled Need and I did it too, he got a 14 and then I roll an increadible 7... ¬_¬

Today, my guild mates invited me to go straight to inner part and rush to Princess. I went on with this thought in my ming "Today, when I'm the only plate'd gear it won't dropp"... We Killed the princess in less than 10 minutes and when I opened the loot... TCHAN! "Elemental Rockridge Leggings" I rolled need and won.

It's a really nice pice and I believe it'll stay with me until I reach 60.

Being a woman myself, I don't see why any of the female players on this game find this legging model so degrading, have you EVER worn a swim two-piece swim suit? I would assume not, judging by the reactions I've seen thus far.

I personally don't mind, as said by others: this is not real, it is a game. My boyfriend doesn't seem to mind them, or Firemane Leggings, either.

Got mine last night, on my 4th Princess run. I hated to give up the 7 AGI from my Warleader pants, but the extra strength made up for it. :D

It was our night though, because the little goblin in Mara dropped a nice blue gun too, which went to a under-equipped Hunter guildmate.

Now to go back for one of thiose rings!

Just got em today-very nice leggings. Ive only done Mara about 5 times and this is the first time they have dropped. Plan on the ring next-shouldnt take more than 5 runs to get these-great stats, woulda liked some+def instead of nature crap.

Who cares if they're sexy. Would you rather your female character be unappealing? You're right, you're right. The females in this game should have stretch marks and saggy titties to more realisticly portray women, and all the male characters should either be really skinny, or really big, but both covered in acne. OMG, I think I have killed this %^&*in princess like 6-7 times now AND still she hasn't drop this damn leggings... Sometimes this game suck BIG time!

BTW I have to agree with the last post, it can HARDLY be 15% drope chance, MAKE a more CORRECT %!

Try doing 18 runs with a social warrior doing Maraudon 2nd run and outrolling you on your 16th when they finally drop. Love the droprate on them. Bah.
