Even though it's a new faction added in 4.2, it's more a faction to accompany the actual raid, instead of the Firelands daily zone. As stated by Lylirra on the WoW forums:

Oh, and I know I saw someone ask this earlier, but nearly all of the quests at the Regrowth and Molten Front will award reputation for Guardians of Hyjal. The Druids of the Talon and Shadow Wardens, while pivotal to your progress in the Firelands, will not be getting their own reputations in 4.2. :)

Not specifically for the daily quest hubs, but we are adding a separate reputation for the Firelands raid currently called the "Avengers of Hyjal." It'll work a lot like Ashen Verdict, except players won't be able to grind their way up to Exalted simply by farming trash mobs.

To all those associating this faction with the new Firelands daily quests, please stop it, the Avengers of Hyjal is a raid-only faction, Blizzard devs have already stated this a million times. The only rep you'll get from completing Firelands dailies is that with the Guardians of Hyjal.

Now, if you want to get all those lovely goodies and title, you'll have to have the courage and patience to fight through the Firelands for weeks on end.

We were able to farm rep beyond Friendly via killing trash, and got our 378 cloaks for the entire raid without killing any bosses. It hasn't yet stopped as of 1k into Friendly.

Be aware that killing trash does spawn Shannox, who ran up behind us mid-trash pull and ground our unprepared raid into the dirt.

I got 2310 rep clearing Firelands 25 trash (in a level 25 guild, and we were all first-timers in around i357-360 gear) in slightly more than an hour, which means almost any group should be able to get to Friendly in two hours. I'm pretty sure that makes the rep cloaks the fastest level 378 items to obtain.

Reputation farming tip:
Go kill the spiders at Beth'tilac's lair; they grant 5 reputation each, even the 100k health ones. And the big ones grant a nice amount.

"Small" Trash give rep until 5999/6000 Friendly.
"Large" Trash give rep until 11999/12000 Honored. This trash includes: Unstable Magma, Flame Archon, Flamewaker Animator, Flamewaker Subjugator, Molten Flamefather, Molten Lord. Also the 3 trash mobs between Majordomo Staghelm and Ragnaros give rep. Lava Wielder, and Molten Spewer, Molten Erupter.
Bosses give rep until 999/1000 Exalted.

The first for bosses (Shannox, Alysrazor, Rhyolith and Beth'ilac) give:

Normal Mode: 250 Reputation (275 with guild perk)
Heroic Mode: 500 Reputation (550 with guild perk)

Baleroc, Majordomo and Ragnaros give:

Normal Mode: 400 Reputation (440 with guild perk)
Heroic Mode: 800 Reputation (880 with guild perk)

All the trash only awards reputation until honored, only the "bigger" trash mobs (like Molten Lords) award reputation until Revered

A full 7/7 clear gives (assuming guild perk) 2420 reputation, a 6/7 HC clear plus Ragnaros normal awards 4400 reputation

Starting with 4.3 Guild Standards are again usable in Firelands. Duration has been increased to 15 minutes, the effect has a 100 yard radius, and now affects dead players. That means you'll be able to farm reputation faster once 4.3 goes live.

It took me a month of 6/7 and 2 months of 7/7 to get Exalted. Finally I got it.. it's a huge weight off my shoulders. Very long wait and the title "Avenger Of Hyjal" is granted along with the Achievement. I wear it like a badge of victory.
