And how to earn this Breaths?

There is a portal in the Main weekly assault map that allows you to do once a day a Mini-Vision scenario, inside this scenario you have to complete a blue quest that you pick before zone in, from a npc close to the portal.

You can do this once a day, so 7 times per week.
The first time you do this per week, you will get one Breath as reward.
So you need 3 times = 3 weeks to build the rank2 essence that is coming from this item

Obscenely powerful essence for world content, dungeons and horrific visions - or any scenario where you have a constant supply of enemies or are going into and out of combat all the time.
Since obtaining rank 3 BotD, it's power has made the game so much more fun and satisfying.

You can reliably deal 150k damage from about ilvl 465 and upwards, when you keep the killing blow-buff up.

If you get very comfortable and used to this essence, and learn how it lets you abuse it and how greedy you can be. A little time learning your own damage numbers and looking at enemy health - you can basically get into a rhythm where you are two-shotting mobs one after another.

The "killing blow" requirement is very forgiving. If you strike an enemy with the spell, and it doesn't die - but dies within about 2 seconds time, the game still gives you the "double damage, 5s cooldown" effect.
So it's easy to hit a mob with a spell, nuke it with BotD, and even if it doesn't die - you can follow up your next GCD with a good class-spell to finish it.

All mobs from content pre-8.3 will often just die to BotD all by itself. You have a 30-yard range, instant-cast, 5s "delete" button for 90% of the game here.
