so i need to know, is all this worth getting the first set, doing all these quests, and paying all the money to get d2... or should i just get to lvl 70 and run through a few BC dungeons and get better stuff

The follow-up to this quest is "Back to the Beginning" (Alliance or Horde). The quest after Back to the Beginning is "Saving the Best for Last" and is class- and faction-specific.

From there, you can turn in your final T0 gear, and this questline is finally over.

And since Rastafa is missing a ton of Horde links and apparently doesn't believe Alliance has shamans (in 2.1!), here are the links he's missing:
