After you complete the long quest to be able to do the Ogri'la quests he says:

"Grok hear dat yous da new queen of all da ogres. Congrat... congratu... gratz, <insert race here>."

In reference to the many slang terms of congratulations.

"Grok" approximately means "to know intuitively". The term originated in a 1960s science fiction novel, "Stranger in a Strange Land".

The NPC's name is no doubt a reference to the enlightened nature of the Ogri'la he leads you to.

According to WoWWiki a grok was a type of livestock used as food for orc camps.

Now he sits right next to the fruit seller in shattrath who occasionally exclaims "Im sure I had more apples than this. Grok!" and he (usually) replies "What? Me no take all the apples, see there one bucket left!"

So he could be called Grok as he seems to be a bit of a pig. Or maybey their fattening him up for a cookoff :P

You have to be level 70 to get his quest. I went all over Blade's Edge looking for this quest chain and where it started, to come to Shattrath at level 69 and find that I can't get it yet. :(
