I'm leaving out staves as paladins can't equip them. I'm including polearms there is a chance strength polearms will be added to endgame content in the future.

And yes the inability to transmog between items flagged onehand/offhand/mainhand is supremely obnoxious, but I'm leaving the one handers in regardless of their current handness flags as it may change in the future or be of value to RPers/dressup/dualwielders. (is handness even a word? IDK WHATEVER! I DO WHAT I WANT!)

The helm used to drop from Onyxia back at lvl 60 but when Blizzard revamped the encounter for level 80s, the helm was moved to Nefarian's loot table. However, the helm dropping from Onyxia does have the same coloring than the actual T2 helm, so if a person just wishes to complete the full looks, they can get the respective helm from 10 or 25 man Onyxia as well.

I personally love this set, I was planning to transmog it for my warrior.
Note to anybody else planning to use it for their toon that isn't a pally, you can't.
I was so disappointed! Oh well though, off to look for a different set I can actually use.

Something to keep in mind when farming this set is that, unlike most transmog sets, the bracers for this set are actually visible, so there's no sense skipping them just for the sake of saving a slot of bank space. Of course you could just cover up the exposed parts of your arms with a black shirt, but of course with an amazing set like this it's worth going for the complete set.

I've been looking for alternate legplates. I have the legs already but I want to see if I can find a better leg armour model alternative. Heroic Immolation Legplates (T12) actually work rather well with it but I'm the sort of player who can't expect to get heroic T12 any time soon. The version of these legs you can get for 2200 JP doesn't fit as well, but still fits to an extent.

Let me know if you can think of any more.

Now it's obvious this set is bound to the Paladin class. However can they still be used to Transmog gear for other classes?
Can my Deathknight be given this retro paladin look? Or is the 'mogging restricted only to the things I can physically equip?

This little gem goes well with it and is an odd find for a 2H sword. Spada del Massacro Also for a cloak if you are an alliance player, you can easily get a very nice looking black cloak for the set with the quest Watching Our Back in the Blasted Lands zone. Mantello di Calafuria. Both of these items are uncommon quality items, the sword may be harder to farm up but I have seen it drop twice within Blackrock Spire and use it for a nice looking weapon for my death knight until I can find another.

It's not the easiest cloak to get, nor is it a farmable item, but I found that Mantle of Fury matches this set pretty well. The colors are slightly off, but the design on the cloak is the best I have yet to see in my years of playing, and the design itself also kinda goes with the armor set (in my opinion). I'm using it on my paladin with his T2.

For anyone who wishes to use this look, but with different leggings to appear more mobile, the Lightforge/Soulforge are perfect matches to both versions of this set.

I think the Granspada degli Inferni Ghiacciati is actually the best looking weapon for this set. Even though the sword might be pretty difficult to get your hands, it's model looks slightly like The Ashbringer, because of it's long and squarred out model.
I don't know, just my opinion though :-)

Instead of original belt use Fibbia dell'Atrocità del Gladiatore Truce . . . small book attached to belt fit paladin better than anything else ;)

People rag on Judgement as the most common paladin transmog set -- tons of pallies are running around in it -- but dammit, from the time BWL opened all the way to the original Naxx, my guild saw MAYBE 8 pieces of Judgement drop. No paladin in my guild had more than one piece; so, I wear this set proudly, as a middle finger to RNG.

I still think the best color matches IMHO are Mantello del Peccato Imperdonabile and Maglio Draconico for a 2-hander. The latter's a pain to get, as it's a trash drop. The old days, when one of the best-looking weapons dropped off throwaway mobs!

EDIT: I've since changed my mind on the cloak; the ornateness of the armor really needs a more solid color to offset things. I've tried both Cappa Intrecciata d'Oscuro, which picks up the gray-brown color under the armor, and Mantello del Tradito, which picks up the red, gold, and grayish elements. The latter is odd, since sometimes it looks orange, and other times red.

(Note these are all from the perspective of a blood elf male. Racial differences can make or break an off-piece for a set, and sex differences are even larger in many cases, so your mileage may vary.)

A couple of pants that look good with this set:

Gambali Corazzati dell'Immolazione seems to match very well, with white inner thighs. However, the token for it drops from heroic Shannox in Terre del Fuoco, so it may be a while before you can solo this.
Gambali Foderati della Tigre Bianca also matches coloring, with black inner thighs, although the pattern seems a bit out of place. The Gambiere del Conquistatore Ombroso token for it drops from LFR Un'sok il Plasmatore d'Ambra in Cuore della Paura. Because this is the LFR version, you can "solo" farm it, but you won't be able to get it after level 90.
Gambiere Rinforzate del Martire has matching colors, but the pattern is a bit too swoopy for my tastes. The advantage is that it's relatively easy to get, as it drops from Cacciatore delle Ere in Passato di Colletorto (Heroic only).

These items are possibly acceptable, but don't really match. I just list them as possible alternatives if you really don't like the skirt and want judgement plate right meow.

Gambali Foderati del Patto Pacifico is a so-so match, available from Griselda Terrabassa in Dalaran for 770 justice. Up close it looks kinda bad, but it's ok from a distance if you can't find anything else.
Gambali Corazzati Bruniti da Combattimento dell'Ingegnere is another so-so match, with the "gold" being too tan to really match, but doesn't look terrible. It's horde-only though, and the only easy way to get it is from a questline in Jade Forest. There are several look-alike piece from Trial of the Crusader (check out the "same model as" tab for those pants), but they are all horde-only still, with fairly low drop rates.
Gambiere di Torio is a better-than nothing match, that's too red and has too much purple up top, but can be made by a blacksmith pretty cheaply (seems to look better on males than females).
Gambali Corazzati Forgiati nel Sangue is too red and has a terrible drop rate, but you might see it on the AH.
Gambali Foderati del Giudicatore is too white, and the gold doesn't match, and is going to be a pain to farm (tier 6.5 stuff), but again could be ok if you happen to pick them up.
Gambali Corazzati della Forgia della Luce - Replica was suggested elsewhere in the comments, but they don't match very well with the purple thigh coloring. They require 75 Darkmoon Faire tickets, but appear to be BoE, so you may find them on the AH (for, I'm sure, a rather hefty sum).

I've tried on all the tabards that match the colour scheme of the set and aren't too different in style:
-Tabard of the Wyrmrest Accord.
-Shado-Pan Tabard.
-Shado-Pan Assault Tabard.
-Sunreaver Onslaught Tabard(Horde only).
I'm personaly going with the Shado-Pan Assault Tabard because I think the cross design in the middle suits it well, but all of them go together so take your pick:).
EDIT: Can't say I agree with most of the suggestions for cloaks so far, so here are the ones I think are matches:
-Cloak of Unforgivable Sin(my favourite).
-Mantle of Fury.
-Haunt of Flies.
Apart from that I'm not using any weapons/shields that you won't have seen already.

For those of you, like me, that wish that all transmog sets had these, there is some hope if you want to make your own and share them. In my frustrating search to find a resource on how to do these, I found two rather helpful Wowhead posts (And this is coming from someone that has no knowledge of any coding save the most basic HTML!). I'm sure there are others, but any mention of the words "transmog set" in either Wowhead or Google generates every transmog set there is and then some...other resources are surely buried under all of that, but I just didn't have the patience after half an hour.

I really love this transmog set (I am still in the process of fighting RNGesus to get the set), but I am not too much of a fan of the metal skirt look. I've found that Heroic Gambali Corazzati del Controllo Assoluto from Shannox are a very good match.

Additionally, the cloak I use is the Mantello del Sole Scintillante. It is a possible quest reward from Ulduar.

The Runic Plate items are pretty easy to obtain and it gives you a bit more color and uniqueness in a world filled with paladins wearing the T2 and T6 sets.
