The boots seem to not match the set quite right, they are a little darker than the rest of the armor pieces.

Apart from the helm, pieces from the Slatesteel Plate set will fit well here, better than these boots, imo.

This set uses the Blue variant of the "Horde D2 Plate" artwork and forms a complete seven-piece set of the art.

There actually isn't artwork for a helm in this set, none was ever created. So pick whatever you feel goes as there were no pieces designed to match.

It's also worth noting that while there are "Heroic" boots, they use unrelated artwork (probably a mistake) and so aren't listed here.

There are actually six other colours of this artwork in the database, and all have at least a couple of pieces in the game. Most of them consist of black, with different coloured edging. See:

Gold: Heroic Plate (Recolor) (just boots missing)
Green: Heroic Plate (Recolor) (shoulders and bracers missing)
Red (officially "Blood"): Heroic Plate (Recolor) (bracers, gloves and boots missing)
Copper (officially "Orange"): Heroic Plate (Recolor) (just chest, legs and gloves)
Purple: just chest and shoulders: Pettorale Corazzato d'Ossidiana Spessa and Spalletti della Pietra del Sale
Silver: just chest and gloves: Pettorale Corazzato del Maestro di Guerra and Guanti Lunghi della Morsa di Pietra. The chest, bracers, gloves, belt and boots of the Bone-Plated set also use this colour, but are common quality so not currently available for transmog
In addition, the "Blood Knight D1 Plate" set uses artwork that is almost identical in format to this one (except for helm and shoulder art). See Champion's Redoubt. It resembles a sharper version of the "Blood" variant of this set, and it may be possible to mix and match some of the pieces.

Farming this set was long and boring,but hey,the final result is pretty nice (at least for me),and is epic when you're a fury warrior.

For those who hate full helmets (like myself), Corona del Gran Condottiero seems to match rather nicely.

Okay so if you're like me and love the set but just cant find the time to farm the boots for the set i found two okay substitutes.

Stivalacci da Terra di Kyzoc looks really nice with the set and shares some of the art style and colors.

Stivali della Marcia Funerea can also work but is the best if you have hooves and worgen style feet. it doesn't pull away from the set at all.

For the sake of completion, Malevus the Mad is the Ethereum prisoner in Netherstorm who drops the Slatesteel Boots, if not nearly as often as we'd all like.
