The guano drops off the Kraul Bats, elite mobs that spawn only in the caves at the far west side of the instance. You will have to fight through about three quarters of the dungeon to reach them.

The way I found it was upon entering, stay to the right fork of the three. As soon as you can go up to the top level and start crossing bramble bridges and bridges. When you reach Ramtusk, you can bypass him if you wish for this quest. Follow the paths around, and you should find the entrance to the cave (with the bats). I received the drop(ping) on the first bat. Other party member got his the next bat.
If you clear the bat cave, you can open the portal to kill the giant boar.

Be very vigilant at crowd control since the mobs often bring back multiple fresh adds.

I was level 45 when I found this quest. I was rep grinding, doing all undercity quests possible so that I didnt have to use my STUPID hawkstrider, well I found this quest, stealthed all the way to the bats, and it droped on the first and only kill within that instance. I then HS out, completed the quest. Only 9k rep left until exhaled!

Enter instance, stay to the right. You'll cover a lot of ground before you get to the bridges. You are going to cross many bridges before you get to the bats.

Earthcaller Halmar is the only boss you're forced to face. I snuck around her with an invisible potion (recommended). If you choose to fight her, she's gots ants in her pants. Her trick is never holding still in one place and having lots of minions to beat on you while you're trying to chase her (note - I soloed at lvl 41).

If you ever watched an Ace Ventura movie starring Jim Carrey, Guano was the name of Bat...poo :P (in an african dialect) So particulary this quest wants you to gather %^&* :P

possible to solo as a lvl 33 enchantment shaman.

It is tricky, but doable if you got time. All elites are 25 with the excpetion of a few levels 26. You also need to pass a silver elite boss.

The totems i used are:
Stoneskin(armor to boost survival).
Windfury for melee haste
Mana spring for extra mana
Magma for good fire damage with multi mobs(cost alot of mana)

Shields:
Water shield for mana, remember to refresh

Tactic: use frost shock versus fire shock. Keep the shields up and heal. Refresh totems and use magma totems if more than one mob and if you cna afford it. Ue frostshock then low hp left so he will not run and aggro others.

hunter: Just shock them and pull back if needed so not aggro others.
Defenders: Deadliest mobs, they interrupt your lesser heals. So heals alot and try to do shocks then kicked. Make sure to finish of runner.
Casters: Aggro and kite them back using los, then kill them.
Totemics and earthgrabers etc: pull and damage move back then drop totems and finish off or kill totems.
champion: Try to get some good damage fast becaus then they get 5 sunders you will have 0 armor.

All grps will consist of 2 or 1 except one grp who got 3 mobs. Follow the map who was linked from a poster above.
You cna pull the boss without killing the three mobs. The boss will move alot so move back from the bridge.
Remember there will be patrols so take it easy there is one near the boss you msut pass. you need to pull the totemic first before boss then take the champions.
there is one also before bridge, in the tunnel you go and see alot of houses in cliffs above. almost beginning.
In half way thru that tunnel you will see a hunter and two defender standing close, do not worry and pull back the hunter first.

Tip: Take some ankhs, i forgot that. Just be patience and be careful and you got it.

For some reason the in game quest helper shows this as having a possible questing area just north of Deathknell in Tirisfal Glades. I've looked into the defined area, both in the cave and in the eerie undeveloped area on the surface. Nothing relevant to the quest there.

Entrance is very south, that ping room is where bats are.

I have tried to find the entrance but can not!
I tried from land and sea!
tried to climb all the mountains from all dirction and still can not get to the entrence!

the inside maps are great only if I could fine the entrance!

please set from a starting point on the map like undercity?
