Jeepers! What has happened to Aggra's voice? I've done the trip through the Maelstrom to Deepholm on five Horde toons and she has a beautiful rich booming Orc like voice, a warm resonance loaded with character.

I've done it for the first time today on an Alliance toon and the voice has changed? She sounds like a shopper reading a cereal box, it's so wrong - it's nothing like the rich charismatic voice she had horde-side. What a let-down, she no longer sounds like a consort for Thrall - unless he's hanging out with a high school girl. *Very* disappointed.

Are you kidding? Her old voice was so horrible, like a yak with a cold. I'm amazed they went back and changed it to match the "new" Aggra voice. Not sure if it's a new actress or if they just weren't happy with the old one and she changed the voice she did (it used to be so gruff, hoarse and masculine, I can see why they'd change it).

Man, I remember questing in Deepholm at Cata launch... "Go inside and speak to Maruut; he's in charge. We are all counting on you" is chiselled into my brain... over and over every 5 seconds when a new person arrived...

I have to agree with Mormolyce.. are you kidding? That gruff-voiced actress, whoever she is, is not only my least favorite in the game, I actively dislike her. She's cringe-worthy.

The new Aggra, on the other hand, is one of my favorite voice-actresses in the game. She knows how to act instead of just grunt in a deep voice. So, she makes her a bit European... I'm ok with that.

Voice-acting is my pet peeve with WoW. When it's not just giving stupid lines for the actors to say, it's actors that sound like they must have been sleeping with or related to the voice director in order to have gotten the job.

And here's another thing: why copy the same lines to every actor? You're already committed to a new recording, thus the (tiny amount of) storage space it'll take, and paying the actor and director, editor, etc. Why not change up the lines a bit? Instead of every single goblin in the AH telling you "hey, I got mouths to feed" and every Orc, etc, saying "may your blades never dull".

I'm ok with Taurens saying "I've been expecting you". It makes me think they're precognitive.... heh.

I don't know why some of these comments were down-rated.
Yes, she's an Orc and we might expect the voice to be a little rough based on the other female Orcs in game,
But I found it annoying to listen to and now I kind of accept her as the mate of Thrall... slightly.
When I read Rise of the Horde, I got the impression that Thrall's mother had a gentle voice as well.
