Bort also happens to mean "Away" (from something) in swedish. Considering he stays near a flight master / zeppelin tower, it just might be a deliberate bilingual bonus, or just an amusing naming accident.

Bort is the final raid boss in the "Itchy and Scratchy Land" instance, he is a heroic-mode only encounter that can be unlocked after collecting 500 Bort license plate fragments and defeating the Krusty Kouncil.

The Blizzard team must have REALLY been watching the Simpsons when creating this NPC. The name Bort...the fact that Giungla d'assalto tells you to say "Woozle Wozzle."

This guy periodically walks to the edge of the mesa and flaps his arms (the treading water animation minus the leg movement).

When I spoke to him, he said "You ever been to the jungle, goblin? It's real nice."

I backed away very slowly.

Bort sits down outside the door to the Zep tower for Grom'gol, Stranglethorn Vale. After some time, he walks out to the edge over looking the Valley of Honor. Very quickly he motions with both arms outstretched. Looks like /gasp emote to me, but I don't play a lot of regular Orcs.

If you talk to him along his route, he seems to rotate between:

"You ever been to the jungle, ? It's real nice."

"Stranglethorn, man. That's where it's AT!"

"Ah, to be back in Stranglethorn. The screeching raptors, the troll wars, jungle creatures as far as the eye see, just ASKING to be killed... <Bort sighs.>"

And my personal favorite quote: "Hi."

I hope he makes it back someday.
