Abilities he uses are Thunderclap and Flame Breath. Most common strategy is to kill him, but he is also sleepable.

While most folks prefer to kill this add, it's entirely feasible to keep this add slept the entire time. (We usually run with a resto druid and she's had no problem managing this task and keeping folks alive, too.)

if you have a boomkin, keeping this mob cc'ed is quite easy, but hexlord is a busy fight for your healers so if you only have a resto druid, killing this dangerous add might be the better choise

Just ran ZA last night, very little CC for Hex Lord. Found out that Raadan is also fearable by a lock, worked well we killed him third.

While wowhead still lists him as a potential add in the Malacrass encounter, Lord Raadan no longer spawns in the revamped 5 man version of Zul'Aman.
