Blizz has to seriously redesign how gearing up works in WoW because the current warforging system is the worst out of all the MMOs I've played. I hate quadruple RNG on my gear for bonus tertiary, socket, and ilvl, on top of the gear piece even dropping.
Gold inflates. Nothing serious.
Slows down the progress of the game for 2020 PS4 realease
Once again, Don't like it? Don't play it!
Hey our game isn't readyand we have no content for them when they hit lvl 120hmmlet's slow down gear progression and toss more RNG into it.Yeah ... that will keep people playing till we ship ... somethingBut Sir that was a similar approach as the one we had with the full rng stat drops in Warlords of ...Silence - Never mention that word again or do you want to scare the stockholdersNo Sir ... I know the big A doesn't like it when we scare our stockholders
The price really is no big deal. Inflation is kind of insane. I did one third of a zone on Beta two weeks ago and had 12k gold just from vendor grays.
I hope a chance to get actual gear from bonus roll will be better than this in Legion. When I was using my 6 coins i just got AP, and no gear at all. Several times doubled one.. that was so frustrating and made me feel im unlucky... something was wrong, not fun at all.The idea with mythic plus bonus rolls seems legit tho, I'm looking forward to this.
Another day, another BFA disappointment. I don't know how Blizzard manage to fail so bad at everything.
I think best option would be to buy 1 seal each week for like 5-10k with possibility to stash 2 of them, but with 100% drop chance of gear. If you want AP instead, you would have 2 hours (like with trading) to sell them for AP token instead of gold.
Yeah i really hoped they allow us to have 100% chance on a boss... it's already a RANDOM loot with a 20% chance atm, so on a 5 loots table on a raid boss, you have 4% of getting the item you need.... 4 ^&*!ing % and not even able to trade him to a friend if you have something you don't need (80% of the time). This whole system is really bad, just give us 100% loot on a bonus roll, and reduce it to one per week and we're "fine" i guess. But two coins with a 20% chance of loot is pure garbage, i'm not going to pay any gold on it, ever. Pure waste of gold.
this is real bs people is right.like blizard ask us run one mile run.not me butr some player are fast and good.just before race start wait wait u gone run mile run but u need run marathon pacehere 10kg +10 kg ankle wieghtif not work they will try give us spoon while race carry egg with mountbecouse of enjoyable decent game planing so hardneed add bilion thing farm so costomer stay in playing at pain cant leave.in really masty majority people hates this shore and unncesceery extra dilfulties and those arent come from game.and leave game give huge break or never returnwod was so bad wow almost was goner.if contoue this kind crap 3 year later free play 3 month we are closing serrvers blue tweet we can see.instead of good planing good game they focus how milking custumer almost without work much atitude isnr good%100 seal imposible but 2 and 5 total limit wtfits must be 3 weekly and 10 total limit.if they scare to piled up .like panda they can bring new seal with new raid tiers
I can kind of understand what they're going for here since as it's been mentioned, Blizzard is probably trying to slow gearing but they're trying to do so without messing with core features much. However, I personally think there's better ways for Blizzard to go about it (like emphasizing secondary rewards from bonus rolls in general to make them more desirable to get and nerfing the rate of acquiring bonus roll gear if needed). Such a change would fall nicely in line with what the currency seems to have been intended for to begin with despite constant complaints about it since its introduction: earning a nice bonus by consuming the currency.Since gold cost seems to be a concern, Blizzard as always will likely provide alternative means to buy bonus roll currency - buying bonus rolls for gold has always been a poor investment. It's also worth keeping in mind Blizzard may, as they have for the last couple of expansions, provide other means for acquiring bonus roll currency directly. Maybe it won't involve missions this time.
Are people seriously sat in this comment section saying that chances at free loot aren't lucrative enough? Bosses drop what, 4 items on mythic? Your personal coin might not be super impactful, but when you have 20 people venting a coin it increases the rate of gearing pretty damn fast.Moaning about personal loot makes sense because it's garbage loot control imposed by blizzard with nonsensical ilvl restrictions, but moaning about your free welfare coins being toned down is a bit silly.
Considering that coining is like lottery tickets I'm not even sure there will be any big difference. I really wish I had kept records of my coining the last expansions, I think actual useful gear received by coins is around zero. Instead you get this thing where you turn thousands of gold into 40g or whatever the cost of a shard was at the time. So it really is like a lottery, most people just lose from playing it. Still if you don't play you can't win ...
