another one of these, i guess i wont bother to get the free pack this week
Make sure you keep your small minions on the board to soak extra damage (don't attack with them). It can help significantly if you save some of your spells for when Lorewalker Cho is played so you can give your teammate cards. Also, remember to not fill your side of the board as Mechazod will kill all of the minions on your side before switching over if there isn't at least 1 slot available for him.
Burly Rockjaw Trogg is easily the strongest minion.
This brawl got considerably easier when they replaced the with .Now a Divine Shield actually accomplishes something.
Priest has Leroy now
I wish you could see your Teammate's cards, even if it was just a card that revealed each other's cards for that turn only.Still I enjoy this Brawl whenever it pops up.
Not as great as the previous Tavern Brawl. It has its moments, but limiting it to only Priest and Paladin makes it quite boring in my opinion. My friend & I just played 3 games and we basically didn't want to do anymore since it got old that fast. I guess avid Hearthstoners might find this week's Tavern Brawl fun, but I surely don't.I honestly feel like this week's Tavern Brawl was overthought upon or they just didn't have the heart into it like last week's.@DillWillCat: I said exactly that. It is cooperative and it would make sense to see your partner's cards for strategy purposes.
Won as paladin. Cho passed a blessing and holy light, then the priest passed them back. Finally, is shielded and endured one hit before finishing.By the way is also on pal side.
I actually think the best minion in this brawl is Fjola Lightbane. It's always good to have the divine shield on her even if you do not attack on that turn. Keeping the shield up will also guarantee that she does not die to Prioritize or Bomb Salvo. You can pull off ounces of gradual damage to Mechazod while also keeping her alive. I love her in this brawl...
The frustrating part to me, as a priest, was not being able to tell my paladin partner "please don't attack with your Silver Hand Recruits. They're more useful soaking up a bomb salvo than doing 1 point of damage."
FYI, if your partner dcs or leaves without conceding, then you actually get credit for winning (including quest credit and a free pack).
