Thanks. I think that people (including myself) are reading the quote to mean that the Looter addon will show them the Elder locations on the in-game map. such as in this forum post.
It's not just you, it is very easy (at level 80 anyway :)
Just completed this achievement, pretty straightforward if a little tedious with all the travelling that needs to be done. Took me between 11 and 12 hours to complete. Not entirely sure why Blizzard put some of these elders in really out of the way places (Azshara anyone?). But thank goodness for the Dungeon Finder!
By collecting the various coins quests, it is one of the few ways to gain rep with the Horde or the Alliance (this the rep above the city reps).
The year before, I seem to recall the elders gave you both coins, and gold for each one you talked to, giving you a nice bit of gold along the way. Now they only give coins, which is kind of weak.
I just completed this entire event on US Jaedenar. I started roughly around 8pm last night and finished around 4:45am. Its ALOT of running around and surprisingly i was only ganked once. When I went to get the Elune's blessing achievement in Moonglade I was faced with a problem. I had no tank and no healer and 3 dps but there was 1 alliance there and it was a Prot Paladin who kindly tanked the boss, didn't do any AOE threat *which was awsome for me since i'm a Rogue) and we took him down in about 8 minutes or so. I did die a few times from some of the bosses AOE damage, but who cares I got the achievement thanked the tank and got my title.I have 7 80's and I will NEVER do this achievement again on any of them. i know they give you 3 weeks to do it, but even with that time frame its still to much running around.Krÿptikk Troll Rogue US Jaedenar
I hate running around the whole world to talk to elders. -.-Events get boring when you finished them with 2-3 chars every year. Time to skip it.
You think the Elders like it?http://www.darklegacycomics.com/175.html
Minor error in the guide: Falariel Starsong sells the Pattern: Festival Dress for 5 coins of ancestry, not 10 silver. Edit: And also, the Pattern: Festival Suit is 5 coins, not one.My tailor had one coin and ten silver, and ran off to the Moonglade, hrmph.
Sarilyn & Sibiri: The issues you reported should be fixed now. Thanks :D
And there you have it. The completed Meta and my violet drake. Now I can finally rest knowing I never have to touch world events again unless they have a gimmicky item or mount I might want.
