It appears that this Follower Quest is currently broken in the Beta. My single follower completed the quest nearly a week ago. Completion generated a flashing icon on my mini-map, just as it should, telling me to return to my garrison because the quest was complete. When I did return Olin Umberhide was nowhere to be found nor is there any indication of a place in or around the garrison where I might turn in the quest, obtain the resources and any loot from the quest. I have visited my garrison at least daily since and have even created a targeting macro to help locate Olin without result. I submitted a bug report that, to date, seems to have been pointless.

The issue here isn't so much that I can't obtain the loot from the quest as that I can't get any further Follower Quests until I can complete this one which it is impossible to complete. The phrase "Catch-22" comes to mind. Hopefully it will be fixed by the time the expansion goes live in November.

Let me also point out that I absolutely despise auto-accept quests. For four years at least we've had a facility for quests of all sorts to pop up as a flag on our screens and allow us to accept them. I see no reason why we cannot have this facility for Follower Quests as a management tool for our quest and follower logs. It simply makes sense to give the player the power and the respect of being able to choose to accept or decline all requests.

I thought this quest was bugged for awhile. Even logging out repeatedly did nothing. But on a whim I went into the hut with Warmaster Zog, clicked on the Command Table in front of him and a new window popped up. Click on the chest and it'll give you the reward, and you can click the Next button to move on.

Please note that if you obtain your follower, he will complete the mission for you (100% success)

So do not worry that you cannot find the location of these gronnlings that have to be taken care of to complete the mission.

I am not sure how many missions are automatic, or if we need to complete them with our followers, but this one at least does not require your assistance.
