Look at its finished items. It requires NO secondary material. Just this! Albeit 3 or 4 weeks worth, with 2 more bolts per day than imperial silk, with no chance of using SoHs. Still. This is huge on disenchanted raid mats not needed to be bought in AH for pre-raid toons who want raid-lvl crafted items.

This will have the seesaw (teeter-totter) effect of higher substantial prices of base mats (windwool cloth and bolts), especially in PvP realms, where making this is required to learn PvP item patterns, and making it indirectly harder to make imperial cloth (per cost of its mats, and lack of mats used to make this instead).... You get my drift. This goes on in affecting a lot of prices and opportunity costs (especially with the new food items too, which mats are made in your farm soil slots versus windshear cactus). Stock up on windwool before your realm takes notice of what will happen when the 5.4 patch hits. It will be quite a economic shock.

The cooldown of crafting these can be bypassed through the use of Spirito della Guerra, much like the Song of Harmony.

This is the new version of the Seta Imperiale. It can be created once a day for ten Rotolo di Telaria(A total of 50 Tessuto di Telaria)and will teach you one of the new recipes for PvP or PvE gear being added in patch 5.4. It can also be created as frequently as you like using a Spirito della Guerra in addition to the ten Rotolo di Telaria. Spirits of War are attainable by disenchanting raid gear from the Siege of Orgrimmar.

This pattern, and the patterns for other professions will be gained through Pandaria world drops. The highest rate is supposedly in the newly destroyed Vale and on the Timeless Isle.

Differing from Imperial Silk, these will require no additional mats to make raid gear.
There are 4 total patterns, likely one belt and one pair of pants will have spirit, and one belt and one pair of pants will have other secondary stats.. The gear has an item level of 553, equivalent to normal Siege of Orgrimmar gear.
Belts take 21, while pants take 28. So without using Spirits of War, it will take 3 and 4 weeks respectively to craft one of these.

Possible current bug. Last 2 times I've used the CD I haven't learned any new recipe.

I only learned a new one when I received the item and learned the cloth on day 1.

The four recipes (2 belts and 2 legs) are learned randomly upon creating celestial cloth. You don't buy them or get them from world drops, you just create the cloth and hopefully by the time you have enough made, you can put them to use.

I am curious to know what others think about continuing to craft this on a daily basis. Once I have created all the gear I will use on all of my characters that uses Celestial Cloth in the pattern, I am starting to wonder if continuing to create more of the few items that can be crafted with this, to sell on the AH is worth the time and effort.

I have been thinking of just continuing to create Imperial Silk, as I can always use more Royal Satchels, but I'm not sure about the value of Celestial Cloth.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Isn't it amazing, how as a pve player, I leveled my crafting profession, something that pvp players usually don't bother with, preferring stats from the gathering professions (and gold), Yet, I can only craft 4 epic 553 items, neither of which is for my spec. (destro lock).

What is totally amazing, is the dozens of pvp items I had to 'discover' just to get these 4 patterns, AND that every PVP class and spec is covered. Furthermore, the pvp patterns I can make are pretty much useless. (463 vs 535?) Who buys these?

The only benefit to these pvp patterns is that the bracers are cheap to make and disenchant into an Ethereal Shard.

Similary to the blacksmithing crafting daily, there's very little reason to make these on a daily basis if you've already discovered all the pvp recipes associated with these. The belts cost 2-3k on average, while the leggings roughly cost 4-5k. That being said, it's a massive waste of time making these unless Spirito della Guerra somehow falls to 10g each. You'd be better off using those bolts of Windwool cloth on Malevolent PvP gear.

When warlords of Draenor releases, making celestial cloth will only be useful for learning recipes for obsolete PVP transmog gear.

Question: why do all of the things that take Celestial Cloth (that I learned so far) have prime number cloth requirements?

I was wondering why I couldn't make Belt of the Night Sky when I had 20/21 cloth because that couldn't possibly be right so I read it as 21/20 until I realized I only did it 20 days :P

Of course that's just a 'me' problem
