This guy is really neat looking and for some reason I love how his eyes are different sizes even if he does sorta rezemble a plantoid version of Yoda. However, I think they should have made summer and spring version a little more different from the other. You would think spring would have a lot of flowers too. That would be funny if the version of summer had sunglasses.

I really like how Blizz finally makes a pet that goes by the seasons. Plus, it's like the big trees in Darn. The pet will go great with that and my druid. :D

Really looking forward to this pet; it'll come in handy when figuring out what season it is "in game" since no one can seem to agree on when they start and end... We don't have a pet model for this either, atleast not this specific treant model.

The changes this pet goes through depending on the season are similar to that of the pokemon Deerling; got to love how well this pet got out, look-wise! http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/585.shtml - Downrate comparisons ? -.- just click the link and agree how awesome the different forms are, may they or may they not be based on this pokemon, the similarity stands :/

Antico Fiorente is the new Blizzard Store pet. It costs €10 on EU Blizzard Store and $10 on US Blizzard Store.

Also as mentioned above, it changes colors with the seasons.

I think this pet is by far the best one in game that you can buy from the Blizzard Store Aside from the Moonkin HatchlingAwesome Job Blizzard!
I love the different colors, I wish we could pick the color's we want instead of having to wait Winter color is my favorite!
Hopefully, Blizzard keeps making these type of pets.
Will look pretty sick with a druid in tree form! (:

He's still showing his Spring colors in game as of purchasing him today. I imagine when June 21st rolls around he'll change to his Summer form. So it's entirely plausible that this little guy will serve as a mini warning system for when seasons change in game and pets such as the Guardia Qiraji and Gufo Nevoso become capturable again.

I've noticed there have been two special animations for this pet as well. So far during the spring I've seen it lay down a Path of Cenarius type effect at it's feet.. Summertime I've seen it summon an angled beam of sunlight on itself, (I've yet to see it place any more flowers, so I'd imagine that it has a different special animation for each season as well.) I'm looking forward to seeing what animations it has for Autumn and Winter.

Some players have reported that they've been unable to claim the Ancient by clicking the link in the email that is sent out - here's an alternate way to claim the pet:
* Log into Battle.net account management
* Click 'Explore' in the upper-right hand corner
* Choose 'Redeem Promo Codes'
* Enter the provided code

That should do the trick! :)

Has anyone noticed that you still take damage from multi-round abilities?
I was using Grand Master Aki to level my pets as I always start with her each day. Its easy because I use an Anubiseth Idol and use Sandstorm vs Chirrup. This means that I take 0 damage from their Swarm ability. I have levelled MANY pets using this method of swapping out/in pets whilst Sandstorm is up and theyre using swarm, and so far only this pet has taken damage from the swamp whilst behind the Sandstorm. Can anyone shed some light on this for me please?

I toss my Ancient one of those Magical Pet Biscuits and my little gnome mage in her Mistyreed Regalia can sometimes stand totally camouflaged within him, if he doesn't move away. Out in some of the more secluded zones, I've caught more than one preoccupied player stop and scratch their head over this.

Now, as if I didn't have enough transmogging to do already, I have to get sets for each of the four seasons.

The Blossoming Ancient displays the Northern Hemisphere's seasons, even on Oceanic servers. Looks like I can have a white Winter Veil with my pet, even though it's scorching hot outside.

Bleakwater Jellyfish with Grasp, Raindance and Squeeze simply annihilates this pet.

Grasp prevents it from healing and fleeing, raindance gives you crit and squeeze really hurts this guy, especially if it crits.

Bleakwater is a perfect counter to healing stall teams like blossoming, sunflower and teroclaw.

I just obliterated this tree using a max level Rare Balance shark with attacks 212.

Hope this helps anyone having issues and good luck.

Anybody seen any interactions yet with this pet and the Wandering Ancient mount at all? Tried summoning mine to see, but nothing as of yet.
