Resting place of Forgemaster Deng is in the Court of Bones on the Isle of Thunder @ 38.7, 58.1.

Killing the spectral mob grants the achievement The Mogu Below-gu. Killing all three of these spectral mobs grants the achievement These Mogu Have Gotta Go-gu.

I summoned this NPC at 38.5,58.2 in the northeast corner of a walled courtyard in the southeastern part of the Court of Bones. The usable area for the summoning item seems to be pretty small. It finally worked standing directly in front of the northernmost upright coffin on the east side of the courtyard. Easy kill, just stay out of the trails of fire he shoots out on the ground. He dropped a bit of silver and a Fortuitous Coffer containing two Elder Charm of Good Fortune. Killing him also awarded the achievement The Mogu Below-gu.

By the way, I saw Haqin summoned in that same courtyard, in the middle. Twice. I'm not sure yet about Sparkmancer Vu but will post coords if I find him.

I got this drop from a chest at the end of the new solo scenario. This item summons Forgemaster Deng in the Southeast area of the Court of Bones. His physical damage was roughly equivalent to the rest of the lvl 90 mobs in the new zone. He also creates lines of fire on the ground in the shape of a star that cause roughly 10k-13k damage per second, so avoiding them is wise. Overall a pretty easy fight especially to those who can kite easily.

A word to the wise, the trash around his spawn area has a fairly quick re-spawn timer, so the faster you can kill Deng, the better.

If you die mid fight, Deng WILL despawn and you will not be able to summon him again.

I spawned the mob at the north eastern tombstone in the east side of Court of Bones (it is easy to see since it is much larger than the rest).

BE CAREFUL USING THIS ITEM. I spawned him and had someone else tap him before I could. A DK put Death and Decay down when he saw me channelling the item and a Shaman killed it refusing to add me to their group. I don't mind grouping with people to get them an achievement, but asking would be nice, since their actions not only cost me whatever loot dropped but also cost me the achievement.

I hope this will be hotfixed soon, but until then make sure nobody is around before you summon.(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##hatman555##DELIM##

I hate myself because of this item it shares the same icon as the item used to summon a mob during a quest and I destroyed it thinking it was the same item just stuck in my inventory. don't make the same mistake

I got pulled into the battle, by the Forgemaster, while killing the mobs around.
I didn´t see him at first because I was looking the other way and suddenly I was fighting him AND I got credits for it.
I really hope I didn´t took the credits from the player who summoned him!
Also, today when I summoned him myself just to try the item, another player helped me kill him and didn´t want invite when I asked him.
He just wanted to help me, he said, which shows that there are still players who are nice and helpfull, like back in the BC days. ;)

I found that pulling a nearby Custode delle Lapidi Shan'ze and using their Runa della Tempesta to stand in during any of the 3 summons can make quick work of the encounter or give you the boost you need if you're having difficulty killing them alone.

Checks 5 things tracked weekly:
- Looted an Incantation**. (Incanto di Vu Incanto di Haqin Incanto di Deng)
- Looted a Chiave del Tesoro di Lei Shen**.
- Looted a Tesoro del Re del Tuono.
- Looted a rare elite.
- Completed the quest, Il ciambellano sgretolato.

** Not including the keys/incantations you loot from the daily bag.

For anyone not familiar with why these things are tracked, you can only loot one key/incantation from mobs, loot one trove (chest), and loot a key/ritual stone from rare elites once a week. This also means if you loot a key from a rare elite, it will flag the rare elite + key on the macro. (Source)

Isle of Thunder Weekly Check

Ths Isle of Thunder has a few "once per week" events for every character. These are not account wide so you can complete these events with every level 90 character, but it's not easy to remember which character has killed a rare.. or whether you should be looking around the isle for a trove. That's where "Isle of Thunder Weekly Check" can be very handy. It opens a window with a list of possible events and whether or not the current character has completed them.

We only know of 6 once a week "events" at the moment:

Dropping Chiave del Tesoro di Lei Shen for the single player scenario Cittadella del Re del Tuono.
Looting the Pietra Rituale degli Shan'ze from the first rare monster killed.
Opening a trove around the island (the yellow chest) which rewards a Pietra Rituale degli Shan'ze.
Completing the quest Champions of the Thunder King
Looting one of the summoning incantations: Incanto di Deng, Incanto di Haqin, Incanto di Vu. These are also needed for the achievement These Mogu Have Gotta Go-gu
Completing the quest The Crumbled Chamberlain.

Well, I just died and lost this. Slightly backed myself into a corner by the fire waves. Decided to Heroic Leap to safety... immediately Death Gripped straight back into a wave and more ground fire than I could manage to escape before snuffing it :(

All three incantations are used in the Court of Bones. The tombstone you use Incantation of Haqin at is very close to the one where you use the Incantation of Deng. Both are in the eastern courtyard. Incantation of Vu is used at a tombstone in the nearby courtyard to the north. Each large tombstone has a plaque at the base with the name of the mogu you are summoning. Clear the nearby areas before you begin the battles as there are strong area of effect attacks involved and you might not want the extra attention from normal mobs as you are running around. I highly suggest you read the strategies listed by other commenters on this site before you begin the fights.

Hotfix applied on June 21/22:

Fixed an issue where players were sometimes unable to use incantations to summon bosses.

All of us who have been having problems with summoning the bosses on certain characters should no longer have any trouble with incantations!

You can't do that right now.

This message is related to a bug when using Incanto di Deng, Incanto di Haqin, or Incanto di Vu on the Isle of Thunder. The items are meant to be used at the marked gravestones in the Court of Bones to summon a ghostly mob.

The error is due to an unknown bug which locks out the summoning function. It only affects certain realms on a somewhat random basis (high population realms tend to be more often impacted). If you're getting this message, you have two options:

Wait for your realm to be restarted (usually on scheduled maintenance days)
Contact a friend on another realm and have them invite you to a group so you can shift to their realm to activate the item and kill the mob.

Summons Mastro Forgiatore Deng who drops Forziere Portafortuna which contains a couple of Talismano Superiore Portafortuna and sometimes one of the Zandalari Journals for Assetato di sapere.

dont know if this is a bug or not. Deng has a line-of-fire skill that slams 175K damage in front of him. i thought he supposed to stand still while channeling that skill but he was channeling that while chasing me. he could turn while channeling, like his line-of-fire follows you. i couldnt avoid it. i got killed and the Shadow priest stole the kill and took the loot.

My fight with Deng: Whilst I was cleaning out bank space of all my Pandarian quest items that stay behind for fun, like Banana Dorata, I destroyed Deng thinking it was another pointless "summon for 3 minutes" item. So in a way I defeated him without taking a hit, or in another more important way, I destroyed it because Blizzard should make these items blue.

What is the best strategy for getting these? I am doing the single person scenario, but the drop chance for the incantations (as well as the burial trove keys) is abysmally low.

Okay, stupid question. But people have said pairs have stolen this from them. So this means you can fight them in a group? Today is Oct. 05, 2013 for reference.
