Most of the time it makes it to the target and goes in his or her bags. I have seen it explode upon reaching the target, when it explodes it destroys the item. So if you throw 5 and it blows up once, they only end up getting 4.

Try throwing it when no one is near and you have no target. It gets tossed to you and for a split second, you have an extra in your bag before the number goes back to what you actually had. It even says you get another in your chat log. And, you can throw it (at least to yourself) while flying.

I throw about 9 of these to other targets, around 2 exploded.

Caution, you can throw them at NPCs and they will not throw them back! Though I don't see how that's any different than throwing them at a player...

Unlike Voodoo Skull , and Happy Fun Rock, these will randomly explode when you catch them resulting in loss of item but no physical damage.

Not soulbound so you can store/mail as many of these as you can on any toon. With 5 / level 90 it's quite the collectible.

To those of you complaining about being downvoted because of you're "correct" information of where it came from, this is because your information is incorrect. You happened to do the action you are claiming it came from at the time that someone threw one at you, and thus you got it in your bag from the throw.
