The Desecrated Oil is produced by Alchemists out of the Pesce Scorpione, that can be fished from it's own pools at Inkgill Mere, at the southeast of Kun-Lai Summit.

Producing goes at the rate of 3x Pesce Scorpione = 2x Olio Sconsacrato.

Being an Maestria negli Elisir, I also got a craft of 8 oils, meaning that they can proc, and perhaps for both masteries, because the item falls under the category "Oils" in the alchemy tab.

Also an important note: making this oil may let you discover a random Mists' alchemy recipe, just like any other discovered recipes from Recipe: Master Healing Potion and Recipe: Alchemist's Rejuvenation that you learn from trainer. So this oil can help not only to gain some in the skill without using the herbs, but also in learning few more of the new recipes.

The oil itself has only two known at the moment uses:

firstly, it is a reagent for the alchemists' Pozione d'Acquascura, which requires 3x Olio Sconsacrato and a vial;
well, and the second is simply drinking the raw oil :D upon consuming, it gives you a 1-minute buff Olio Sconsacrato, which stacks depending on the amount of oils you drink (each adds an additional minute to the buff) and discolors your character, your mount and some particular self-casted spells, making you look sha-alike. This buff is also friendly to any other transformation effects.

I could not find any additional special effects on drinking alot of these oils, similar to how WotLK's Olio di Lampreda Pigmea turned you into a pygmy gnome, so perhaps the discoloring is the only bonus we can get out of it.

Sadly, people are already using this item's debuff effect to try to trick others into thinking there are new colors of firehawk/protodrake/etc. mounts out there. So I expect this to be taken away soon.

Just discovered it by making Master Healing Potion. The thing is, I`m at only 535 Alchemy skill and here it states 550. Are these numbers correct or are they speculations?

Spend up to 51 oils on myself. Only increased the amount of minutes. Nothing els beside the greyness effect

Elixir masters DO get procs of Olio Sconsacrato. Potion masters DO NOT.

This means you'll want to make the Olio Sconsacrato on an Maestria negli Elisir and then make the actual Pozione d'Acquascura on a Maestria nelle Pozioni. Annoying.

For some reason :) the oil isn't giving me the greyness effect :) ive consumed 3 full stacks b4 i gave up , if anyone has any idea why this might not be triggerin on me, i would be glad to hear it :)

Olio Sconsacrato + Olio Pietrificante + Size potion like Elisir della Crescita Gigante or Corroborante di Lunacupa = Instant giant Statue !

Not sure exactly when it was changed or removed, but as of 7.1.5, the oil only seems to recolor my character but not any of my mounts, which is disappointing to say the least. It was half of the fun of even making/using it.

Made a tonne of these, use them all, currently buff is at 3hrs, presumably there is no limit.
