The plain version of this artifact counts towards the following three achievements:

I quattro Celestiali
Collezionista: Perle di Yu'lon - restoring five of these
Collezionista: Perle di Yu'lon - after earning the achievement above, you move on to restoring TWENTY of these (the joy!)

Occasionally while working towards finishing the common Pandaren artifacts, you actually end up completing a 'Pristine' version of the artifact instead. Hand in the subsequent quest at the Seat of Knowledge in the Vallata dell'Eterna Primavera (there is nothing else that needs to be done) and you'll receive one Frammento di Ceramica dei Pandaren and 3x Manufatto Restaurato (which is an archaeological currency for MoP).

The location 'The Seat of Knowledge' for all hand-ins to Ramingo della Sapienza Cho is above the Palazzo Mogu'shan in the Vallata dell'Eterna Primavera and can only be accessed with flying.

Here's a puzzling thought. I think Blizzard typo'd here. In the Temple of the Jade Serpent, Yu'lon is known as a "she", but this pearl calls the serpent a "he". How "Yu'lon bestows wisdom and insight from his temple in the Jade Forest."

Shouldn't it be her temple? Just wanted to point that out.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what this does, I just realized I had one in my inventory, not sure how I even got it. I maxed out archeology very quickly and I go to digs very often so I'm not sure if it came from digging or from restoring commons. The description here doesn't say anything at all and just shows what the item itself says. Not very helpful at all.

Either way, what does it mean by "Use: Carefully crate the restored artifact"?
What will happen if I click on it? Does it turn into something else (i.e. become the second version listed above with the quest) or does it disappear and just get cataloged in my archeology page?
