I am thinking this may be a Heavy Frostweave Bandage book-like item, except a world drop-type item.

Within a minute or so of hitting 475 JC, and killing a Gyreworm down in Deepholme, I had quickly found this, as well as Figurine - Earthen Guardian. I have been having trouble uploading my data to Wowhead, probably due to so many people trying to do so at once, but I expect the forthcoming data to bear out that this is a world drop, so long as you have high enough JC.

Anyone see this drop on green con mobs? (ex: level 85 killing level 80-81 mobs)

I havent had the same luck I've been 475 for about 3 hours and haven't seen it drop from about 100 mobs that I've killed.

I've had 475+ JC for three days, and have been running HC's 14 hours a day, and still haven't found any of the figurine recipe quest items :<

This is currently bugged and will not drop if your character is 85.

Confirmed by some people here, no blue post yet however : http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/1406722710

There is also apparently a work around which involves grouping with a sub 85 JC : http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/1406226700

This has been fixed and these are now dropping for 85 characters.

After an hour of farming The Hole in Tol Barad this eventually dropped for my Holy Paladin at level 85. I also had the MDps, tank and caster DPS ones in the same farming session.

It could be mob level, area level, or that I had ticketed a GM about it and they did something (though I never had a response to I doubt it)

Hope this helps everyone, I wish I had known before I spent 5k leveling a friends alts JC only for that to fail to work too.

It dropped 3 times in a row as I was killing these elementals Seguace di Al'Akir

2 other figurines dropped right after. Must be increased chance from elementals in that area im guessing

I got the strength boar and the intellect/sp snake figurines immediately upon entering tol barad (the first place I went after hitting 475), however after several days I've yet to see any of the others. It's kind of odd that I got two in a row, two kills, back to back, and then no more in hundreds of kills since.

I got this in Uldum from a Riverbed Crocolisk with 490 Jc skill. lvl 80 Shamy. You need the Cataclysm exp to accept the quest.

If you are still having trouble getting this pattern to drop for you (like I was), head to the South edge of the Ruins of Vash'ir in the Shimmering Expanse (approximate coordinates: 37,84). At this southern edge, you will find a mass of nagas swimming above a cliff. They have about 40k hp each and are positioned very close together, making them easily farmed. Within 40 or so kills (~ 5mins), I was able to pick up two JC patterns. (At the time of the drop, I was level 85, with JC at 512.)

All of the JC figurines seem to drop IMMENSELY OFTEN in Tol Barad... I killed about 20 mobs total and ended up with all of the Figurines the day I turned 85 it seems as though Tol Barad is the place to go for them...

Got mine off of a random naga kill in vashj'ir. I was level 82 and my jc was like 480. I feel so epic having 346 blue item at 82.

My shaman has been a 475+ JC since lvl75. When hitting 80 my first zone was MH. I've done all quests there and haven't seen a single one of the trinkets drop.

When I went to Deepholm and started questing, during the first quest I had this one and the Demon Panther drop. It's quite safe to assume the trinkets do NOT drop in Mount Hyial.

Amazingly had this drop whilst farming lovely charms in twilight highlands today, then within 5 minutes the Earthen Guardian one dropped

Dropped today from the 2nd Deepstone Elemental I killed in Deepholm on my 85 char.

So... it appears a number of folks are speculating on how many patterns which class can get, and confirmations of multiple. I am a lock in the first week the Serpent pattern dropped for me.

Since then I have not gotten/seen any other pattern (either the alternate INT or Stamina trink).

Can any mages/locks confirm that they have gotten more than the "optimal" dps trink - which for us is the serpent...?

An Interesting thing I found out about this quest item is, the quest item disappears if you respec out of the talents that allow you to use it.

I use to be Enhancement for PvE and Elemental for PvE but now I'm both Enhancement. And the quest item which was in my bank disappeared right after I learned my skills ( not 100% happened then or when I went to the trainer) but when I got back to my bank, the quest item was gone.

This I guess helps support the theory that you only get the ones that your dual specs can use.

i have lvl 460 jwl and i looted 4 q items in 3 hours :D is it a difrent drop rate for those who have jwl ? p.s. i found them in abyssal depths.

Can you get this again if you previously did the quest for it? I got this on my paladin before I dropped my Holy spec for Prot, but sold it while cleaning out my bank. Now that I'm replacing my Ret spec with Holy, I'm looking to get it again.

I'd say it is still bugged / broken.

I farmed it back when I first hit 85 with JC at 475, and all the way to JC 525 - never dropped. I put in a ticket and got that all too familiar Blizzard reply: "...sorry.... known issue.... devs working on it..."

Yesterday I decided to give it a go again. I did the JC Daily "Elemental Goo," no drop. I killed about 15-16 of the elemental just outside of the Temple of Earth, no drop. I then went on to kill 40-50 of the elementals down at Storm's Fury Wreckage, no drop.

Now, some people have indicated they had to kill more than 100 mobs, which I did not do in the above scenario. But I do tell you, I have probably kill well over 1,000 mobs at level 85 with JC at 525, while doing dailies in the past many months - no drop.

It does look like the JC Figurines drop according to what you spec is, I was currently farming for this trinket with no luck, changed specs to Disc and boom it dropped off the third mob.
