Make sure you turn this quest in before finishing the final quests with Lord Godfrey and his crew!

If you don't turn this quest into Lord Godfrey before you lose him you will not be able to complete the quest!

Hopefully Blizzard fixes this.

Edit: You still need to turn this head in to Godfrey before finishing the quest but the required amount of quests for the achievement is now 55 instead of 60.

The low drop rate makes me suspect this drop is conditioned by something, such as holding a certain quest. Can somebody verify or deny this?

The flavor text on this item is a reference to Jonathan Coulton's song "Re: Your Brains", of which a popular WoW video was made starring Forsaken players, which you can find on Youtube. It was also used in Left 4 Dead 2, as one of the possible jukebox songs (which triggers a horde of zombies, too). The specific line in the song being referenced..

"All we wanna do is eat your brains! We're not unreasonable, I mean, nobody's gonna eat your eyes."

Once you get on one of the quest from Friendly Lord Godfrey for taking the lead in to the final battle you can go and take the head from the Crocolisk. I got it from the first kill while 3 NPC's followed me, just like #xHearts in the comments said.
