Does it make sense to transmute randomly? I transmute when I need somethink I dont have and dont need somethink I have, this will consume every volatile and (may) create somethink I have 10 stacks in bank....

i'm guessing, actually, its for alchemist + herbalists to spend the tons of volatile life, transmuting into something else.

*which, now that i mined and gathered lots of herbs, make even more sense, since the rate for volatile life drops from herbalism is WAAAAAY greater than any other volatile from mining.

about 300 volatile life and 10 of all the others on a mining/herb char.

Its a Transmute on a 1 day CD, resets at midnight server time.
15 Volatile Life will turn into 14-16 of another random type.

This is a Transmute, that Alchemists can do. It basically takes 15 Volatile Life and turns them into 14-16 random elements of the following:

Unfortunately, you are able to only get 14 of the 15 Volatile Life. But it is still an awesome transmute for different purposes.
As if you are a Herbalist, you get Volatile Lifes from herbs, and they, on my server they sell for about 5g-7g each, then if you transmute them, to for example Volatile Air which sells for 40g-45g each on my server.
You've made quite a profit.

Only downside that I can see, is that it shares cooldown with "Transmute: Truegold", which is 24 hours.

I got following volatiles from this transmute at the same time:
Volatie Air x 15
Volatile Earth x 18

So its possible to get more than just one type of volatiles per one transmute.

I'm transmute master in alchemy so that might make difference.

this really helped me, since i transmuted so much life to earth and farmed the air,water and fire. Since checking this out have transmuted all i need to make the Vial Of Sands and made some gold to boot
