Tough call.

Increasing your armour is hard. Always has been. Any extra armour is always a good thing, regardless of how small it is.

Currently the only real alternative to this is the block value one that works out at 0.45% block. Given that shield toting tanks have incredibly easy access to block through mastery, I'd argue that this isn't actually that bad an option.

This still only gives +16 Stamina. Considering there's a Burning Crusade Enchant with +18 Stamina and only requires a level 35 item, you'd have thought they would have done something with this by now.

For tanks running the 80-85 bracket, this enchant has never been worthwhile, considering the +18 one that is available.

By wowhead's stat weightings for both Warrior and Paladin tanks, for ilvl 300 items you're better off with the +50 Mastery enchant.
