Dropped today enchanted it berserking has no enchant glow. See this more viable in pvp than pve but I have not or seen testing.

Yeah Dropped for me today also. It looks alright im about to enchanter and test it out on the pvp scene cause i dont see it being very useful for pve.

Comparing to the Nemesis Blade from ToC 10, which is exactly the same in iLvl, DPS and speed.

Nemesis Blade has:
52 Agi
33 Sta
83 AP
32 Armor Pen
36 Crit

Rusted Gutgore Ripper has:
Proc for 360 Shadow Damage, lowering all stats by 120

That proc had better happen twice every hit, cos looking at it like this...it looks a little lackluster

the weapons are a throw back to Ony's actual loot table useful or not stats there all just a reminder of the time when she was the lvl 60 40 man raid, all the old things are back whelps, deep breaths, MOAR DOTS! and of course really bad itemization on most of the gear this is just a example of that, it doesn't need to have good stats just nice to see people who never played the old ony get a shot at what it really feels like, (not soloing it at 80 but the ohhh crap moment when u relaise your in the center of the room in phase 2 and she emotes deep breath.)

Only, the Gutgore Ripper was never on Ony's loot table. It dropped on Garr :)

As stated a few times above this weapon could be very viable in PvP. I, for certain, will be testing the proc rate and dmg thoroughly. This might be a good filler weapon until I build the arena points for the relentless daggers.

The effect isn't anything special but it's not really terrible either (unless it has a stupidly low proc rate). However, the benefit of this knife is its very high top-end damage and that it can be obtained via somewhat of a loot-pinata fight.

In a full flear of TotC 10, I had 30 procs, resulting in an uptime of 3.3%.... yay.

A large part of those procs where on the Faction Champions. I would assume that "normal" bosses are immune to this proc and thus the low uptime in the log.

Note: Of the debuf! I should have made that clear. The shadow-bolt had 68 normal hits and 25 crits in the same period.

Ok, not the greatest stats, none actually... You would think they would at least average the proc rate to have the shadowbolt strike enough to off set the missing stats. Then it would be kind of cool.

Also that's cool the it debuffs bosses, but honestly 1,200 max hp reduction isn't anything to a boss. If you get the boss the that level of HP he should die anyway.

Its a shame to see another special proc dagger bite the dust. Blizz needs to make these procs viable to other weapons at that level or they will never make a name.

As of 06/11/09, can be spell-reflected. I was in H HoL and General Bjarngrim reflected it at me. Was damaged, and lost 120 stats.

I regret putting berserker on it, the proc rate on this has to be under 1%. It's a good dagger for ambush in BGs, then macro switch out with a better dagger.

Accually this is pretty nice dagger if you are using 200iLvl ones such as Direbrew Shanker 2.0 and The Fleshshaper this is way better, still idd dont use berseking enchant on it, a 50AP/Mongoose/26Agi is way more fit to that weapon, with probably using Black Kinght's Rondel as OHbeing able to put atleast 3.7k DPS buffed with a simple Horn of Winter, the high end-dmg is rediculusly high, near acctualy to the Twin Spike from TOC25 Normal and the Furious Gladiator's Mutilator wich appernetly isnt obtainable anymore so the only gladiator one beeing Relentless Gladiator's Mutilator, so I suppose that this dagger is surely worth needing on, and thats what I did :).

Got it on my character today and decided to see its effect, so I went on the Heroic Training Dummy and started hitting it. The proc chance was decent, but the most surprising part is that when it procced, the life of it went down from 9999k to 7933k hp! -120 stats for it = 2mil health, hehe. Now if that would work on bosses.... hmmm -20% total health!
