Deleted this the first time I got it like many others and all attempts to get a new lance off the racks resulted in a Horde Lance and the original quest giver would not give me another lance even when I dropped the daily and picked it up again.

However today, after a daily reset, when I picked up The Grand Melee again I was given another Argent Lance.

I am going to destroy the lance tonight and test this again tomorrow.

So, what's the difference between this and the Alliance Lance or Horde Lance? Cosmetic only?

OK so to put some light into this well first off you can get on to the valiant mount with out argent lance but to fight the valiants you must have the "argent lance" equiped other wise you cant do quest BUT..... to verify the repeat of the daily in which it gives you the lance you will recive it again. another statement you CANNOT get the argent lance from any of the racks what so ever.

I had deleted my Argent Lance because I couldn't remember which was the "new one," to later find out that it was the Argent that was the new one.

Some people are saying that you have to wait until the next days daily reset and wait to accept The Grand Melee quest, but I just got one without doing that.

I dropped and reacquired the "At the Enemy's Gates" quest and the questgiver gave me a new Argent Lance. So both quests will give you a new Argent Lance if you accidently or intentionally destroyed yours.

I enchanted it with Greater Striking (+5 weapon damage) and it seems to do more damage on the mobs for "At The Enemy's Gate".
I'm not sure, but shield breaker did 10k and now 10.4k or so =).

Is it true that this lance is identical to the Alliance lance? I say identical meaning it can be used in the dailys like the Alliance one. Last night I equipped the Alliance lance and tried to do the daily in SW icecrown and my toon would not throw the lance at the flying gargoyles. Once I equipped the Argent lance, it all worked fine.

No need to complete a daily to get another Argent Lance, you can find one at the racks in Corp'rethar stables.

Only some enchants work, or this was stealth nerfed very recently.

I put deathfrost on one as a joke, and found it actually procs while fighting on horseback.

I was going to test lifeward to see if it would heal the horse, but the lance is not a valid target to enchant :(

The heal wouldn't be that much, but when people kite commanders and such into you at low life, it would be nice.

I've been using this lance for my argent dailies since I have started doing them. Since 3.2 has launched it has started disappearing from my bags whenever I turn in a jousting quest, leaving me unable to do another jousting quest without running to Corp'Rethar and grabbing another argent lance, instance dancing and grabbing one out of the new instance, or to the bank in Dalaran and grabbing my alliance lance out of there. I reported this in a ticket, and I was told that the Argent Lance was never intended to be used by players, which seems really stupid to me as there are still multiple racks with Argent Lances available. Anyone else been having problems like this? The GM seemed very unprofessional, and this just seems like a lazy answer to me

E: So I did the dailies with my Alliance Lance, but kept my Argent Lance that I picked up in Corp'Rethar in my bags. It was not deleted when I turned in the quests. The GM told me that the lance was supposed to be "turned in" when I turned in the quests, and that this part of the quest wasn't functioning properly since the quests have been released.

It did disappear when I turned in my Darnassus Valiant's Charge quest as a gnome

For the last 2 weeks I have been able to keep the same Alliance Lance; as long as I turn in the "Among the Champions" quest LAST. Hope this Helps, not sure if this works for Horde too... Ill be able to confirm this in about 1 week, can anyone else confirm?

As a DK I would readlly like to see a DK version of one of the lances. As we have own Champion quest givers... And get Argent Lances for finishing quest from them. That actually p'ssed me off abit.

There's a rack in the Argent Tournamet site in the Court of Bones that has this lance. I was trying to figure out where to find it, and can confirm it's here.

At about 48.8, 71.3 there is a camp for the La battaglia davanti alla Rocca & Alle porte del nemico quests that has both Lancia d'Argento & Cavallo da Guerra d'Argento nella Scuderia, so the only thing you need before flying there is the quests.

If you need a coordinate add-on, here's a good one. :)

Cant pick up any kind of lances.....dunno why I tryed everything
At some racks it says " you cannot carry anymore of those" and i havent any lance in my bag
At some rack is doesnt say anything, but cant see item picked....

If you can't pick up the Lance at one of the racks ("You can't carry any more of those items") try checking if you have one in your bank. It happened to me and was extremely frustrating... :)

The fact that all lances are just "loaners" is actually a gigantic failure on Blizzard's part. Not only is it very anoying to have to go get another lance because the one you were carrying keeps disappearing when you turn in a quest, I'd like to be able to ride around with my lance visible. It has a very nice aesthetic that reminds me of actual medieval knights and their ilk.

Additionally, not everyone wants to sport the colours of their respective faction. Some of us want to be visibly aligned with the /Argent Crusade/, because, you know, that's why we're there..?
Not to mention the Argent Lance looks a lot better with my outfit, and actually presents a much more visually appealing design to me. I do not like the red and white that Blizzard has recently chosen as the Horde colours. It does not look good to me, and I don't want to ride around wearing that on a character who I do not deem to be truly affiliated with the Horde at all.

It seems like it would be much more productive to just have a vendor that unlocks when you begin the Argent Tournament quests, and you can just buy and /keep/ the lance you want. The Argent Lance could be a cross faction item, and the other two based on faction would only be available to those who are in that faction. Simple.

In the event you come back many years later to actually get this done, or continue from where you left off, if you cannot make a new lance it may be because you left yours in the bank.

I was able to pick one of these up inside Trial of the Champion dungeon. The racks outside would only give me Lancia dell'Alleanza.
