This is probably the same thing as Uldaman's disks and when Uldum will be implented some time, there'll be a similar thing like this. RP-related thing, every Titan city has it's disks with data on it that may have been placed there by Norgannon. There's also a link between the disks and Titans' places like in this Daily Heroic quest.

From an Arms warrior standpoint this is the definite BiS. The hard part is deciding between the Titan-forge Rune of Determination(190 ap), and the Standard PVP trinket(84 res).

Im leaning towards the standard but very tough.

Is the incorrect spelling(Platnum Disks of Battle)...omit the (i).
For correct name placement for addon's such as Power Aura's etc .

It seem to me that this trinket share cd with the Pyro Rocket gloves from engineering. Or not exactly share the cd. But I can not use the rocket gloves when I have used this trinket is active. or if I have just used pyro rockets, I can not pop this trinket before 10 seconds have past

The logic in this is what I dont understand, the gloves aint even afacted by the ap so whats the point?

Edit: Tested some more and edited what happens if I use pyro rockets first.

For Rogues/Druids concerned about breaking stealth with this one, just add it to a macro as follows:

#showtooltip
/use Shred
/stopmacro
/startattack
/use Platinum Disks of Battle

Obviously, replaice "Shred" with whatever attack skill you want the button to do.

This will only use the trinket if you are BOTH in combat & un-stealthed.
Note you can be stealthed and in combat, thus the need for the combat check... and that this is a very simple example macro, real macros can add all sorts of additional stuff.

This is great for PVP and trinkets do not use the GCD, so you can macro this trinket with another ability on a cooldown.

for example, (if you place the trinket in the first slot)

/use 13
/cast Blade Furry

Now you will use your trinket and Blade Furry at the same time. You could group it with anything. Like I'm going to test out grouping it with Berserk, for my feral druid, even though Berserk is on a 3 minute CD.

Anvil of Titans has a nice 1k AP increase, but for all you know it will proc at the very end of a fight, blow its cooldown and not help you hit anything harder. But Anvil also only gives 84 Resilience and has an item level of 200, compared to the Platinum Disks of Battle here, which give 95 resil, and have an item lvl of 213 (if it really means anything).

Being able to choose when you get the AP boost is only going to make the thing more versatile and useful. Even as a hunter, I'm running low on button real-estate, but I made some room for it :P

I think it's safe to say. The only people who use this are players who dont pve or humans who need the resiliece boost but not loose the good thing about double/trinket.
