Using this item will spawn a Lonely Turkey neutral mob that will stand near you with a heart over its head. It serves no apparent purpose, but you can kill it for a Wild Turkey which you can use towards the Pilgrim's Bounty cooking recipe, Slow-Roasted Turkey.

This is not a one time use item like the Turkey Shooter you can use it every 2 minutes.

Oddly, this item can only be used outdoors.

Fun stuff you can do with the turkey without killing it:
1. Ice it with a freezing trap
2. Fear it
3. Sheep/ penguin/ rabbit/ turtle/ hex it

Performing hostile actions on it will result in the turkey coming to peck at you.

Yeah, waiting for raids to start is boring.

i found out today while waiting for a friend to come with the rest of the grp to H UP that if theres a lonely turkey out when u turkey shoot a rogue it gets a heart above its head and runs to the rogue

If you can somehow keep your turkey alive for 2 minutes without some inconsiderate jerk killing him, he will despawn when you summon another one.
So you can't have a horde of turkeys walking around unless you have a lot of friends :(

Death Knights could use this turkey caller if there's nothing else around and they need an emergency death strike heal.

Could help if you'e caught in the middle of nowhere and some rogue is about to ambush you.

When summoned in SW by the Champion's Hall, and using some manner of Crowd Control upon the Lonely Turkey, it sometimes causes Lieutenant Karter to dismount and mount back up constantly about once a second until the turkey despawns, or is killed.

Summon a turkey, Faerie Fire it and let it run around. It'll keep you in Combat so no pesky Rogue can sap you!

So sad :-( poor lonely turkey it should help it to find a mate :-( ex. Using Turkey caller than running to a wild turkey it would mate them and maybe get a baby turkey as a non-combat pet :'-(

It seems Lonely Turkey spawns as friendly (green) and you can't kill it if you use this item inside the phased part of Halfhill (Sunsong Ranch)...

I use this to help farm turkeys during the holiday season for the daily. Pop it when I think of it, kill the turkey wherever I am, and have that many fewer I have to kill when it's time for the next daily.

Nothing had me laughing more, than seeing my Demon Hunter as a Turkey Fly, from Dalaran to The Fel Hammer, with the Demon Hunter wings extended and the little turkey wings flapping away and claws kicking... LOLOL! Oh, this was totally Priceless! I couldn't get a picture of it, but this was truly personally epic, for me! LOL!

Summons an attackable, neutral Lonely Turkey that seems to scale to level. Loots a Wild Turkey which is used for the Pilgrim's Bounty event cooking recipe, Recipe: Slow-Roasted Turkey which makes Slow-Roasted Turkey. Is a beast type, but not tamable by hunters as pets.

Reusable with a 2m cool down.
