This is an upcoming item buff and the obvious use for this item is stated in its description. However, was it not leaked that mounts and vanity pets were to be spells now and have their own tabs? Therefore I am willing to bet this is a very early version of the "Carrot on a stick" ] that is coming in WotLK.

Edit: Also looking at the reagents it humors me; it's literally a carrot, plus a stick and string.

Question though.....it doesnt say if they will be stackable. So would you be able to use the Carrot, a Riding Crop, and the Skybreaker whip on each mount? or will you still be able to use the trinket version of each as well as the inscription item? Food for thought for the coming months, my friends.

This makes no sense. It has nothing to do with inscription, so why can only scribes craft this?

pretty sure this has already been in the game at some stage .... must have been removed way back ...wow i been playin wow a long time ..... got all excited when i saw it here i've got loads of the mats LOL
