If you're a hunter and happen to get this guy, go out and tame a gray crocolisk and name it Norris. You might get a groan or two from your friends. :D

What is sad is it isnt a 100% drop from the quest I've done it 2 or 3 times still no croc but i remain hopeful i'll get one of these little suckers

Picked up this little guy today from the daily, had never seen one. It is just too darn cute, and the little sound it makes when you click on it...absolute adorable.

I Just manged to get him on the first attempt at this quest, so I am quite happy. Only irritation was the 100 or so fish I needed to catch the baby crocolisc in the first place.

At least it helped me level up from 296 - 300, only 75 steps to go finally.

I guess I'm very lucky, got this pet on my first try on the daily quest (I did "Crocolisks in the City" because I didn't have skill to do the other quests)
Now I'll grind my fishing up and try to get his brothers =D

I'm pretty sure the only way to get this guy is to do "Crocolisks in the City". That's how I got mine :).
I was hoping for The 2 Ring, but was happy I got this heh.

Muckbreath was the last croc I needed to complete the set of crocs, and last night I got him.

I repeat It is very possible to get all four! But sadly, it is also possible to get doubles-- I have only encountered one double so maybe getting doubles isn't all that often

As of patch 3.2 all Crocs ( Chuck, Snarly, Muckbreath and Toothy) will all have their drop rates increased to a chance of 1 in 2

2 questions. Do any of the shatt fishing dailies have a chance at this reward, or just Crocolisks in the City? And is the drop rate still 1 in 2? Because that quest pops up for me about once every 2 weeks, and I've done that quest about 20 times and only have 2 of the crocs. Just getting kind of frustrated with this.

quick guide to get this pet:

Note: during Burning Crusade Timewalking week, you can buy Sacca di Attrezzature da Pesca from Cupri in Shattrath for 150 badges.
otherwise:

1. take a 70+ char and go to Shattrath. you can use a portal located in the middle of new Dalaran (lower floor).
2. from Shatt head north-east to the lake, where you'll see Vecchio Barlo (coords 38:12)
3. if you dont have fishing profession, train level 1 from him.
4. he will then offer you one daily (out of 5 possible dailies) - you need Crocolischi in città.
5. accept the quest and go to Stormwind or Orgrimmar and start fishing till you get the quest item.
* this could take a while so be patient.. for some of my chars it took 2 or 3 drops, for others it took over 60 attempts.
* i went fishing near the fishing trainer of the city, but other places should do too.
6. when you have the quest item head back to Vecchio Barlo and you will receive Sacca di Attrezzature da Pesca.
this bag has a 50% chance to contain Secchio di Chuck, Secchio di Fiatolordo, Secchio di Dentino, or Secchio di Dentone.

other tips:
* when the right daily comes up, go get it with all the toons you want - you can then complete the quest in any day you have time to it.
* cant say for sure but it looks like higher fishing skill increases the chance to fish the quest item.
so if you started at level 1 train for next skill level when possible (at 50 fishing).
