You can get this as a random prize from Bag of Fishing Treasures from the quest Crocolisks in the City not to be confused however with Bag of Fishing Treasures which comes from any of the OTHER fishing daily quests.

Toothy is just one of the four different baby crocs you can get. The others are:

- Chuck
- Muckbreath
- Snarly

Confirmed that it comes from the daily "Crocolisks in the City"
The drop rate seems rather low. I did it on 3 characters after getting the quest for 3 times and i finally got him on my main. The name "Toothy" makes it adorable enough for you to think of it and he'c really cute when he runs. Awwwwwww xD

The crocolosk pets are really neat and attracts attention to you if u have one. So far i gotten Toothy and Chuck and ppl have been asking where I got them. They all have the same sound effect and swim animation.

I recently got Toothy's Bucket a few days ago and have had multiple whispers commenting about how cute he is and inquiring where to get one, Definitely my favourite non-combat pet. :)

this pet was one of the main reasons i picked up fishing.

I picked up fishing _Today_ got to 225 skill, went to dustwallow to visit old nat pagle, got the quest and as i was going to do my quest a friend told me the fishing daily was in stormwind, i rushed to terrokar and picked up the daily then straight to stormwind and got the crocodile within 5 minutes. and as i turned in the quest, hoping it was the baby crocodile, i got it. my first fishing daily and i got it. overjoyed by happiness i had to show it off in ironforge and man did i get alot of whispers on where i got it, and how cute it was.

I just discovered that you can also have it drop when you already know it. Breaks my heart to vendor it.

It is possible to receive duplicate pets from this quest. I've gotten two dupes since the beginning of this year. :(

This has a very low drop chance, but you can still get it even though you got Wotlk.
It is found in the Bag of Fishing Treasures, wich drops from all fishing daily quests that Old Man Barlo gives.
The highest drop chance is from the Crocolisks in the City, but can be achieved by all of the other dailys.

It dropped for me today, together with Delicious Chocolate Cake, from the Cooking Daily.

Has there ever been a CONFIRMED drop of a croc pet from a daily other than Crocs in the City?

Every piece of info for all the croc pets states it only drops from the one daily, not all.

Unless it can be confirmed it drops from all dailies, I think I'll continue skipping the non-croc ones.

FACT: Crocs don't drop from the loot bags unless it is from the croc-specific daily.

That being said, just got mine today. I did the daily every time it was up, for about 2 months. The drop rate isn't very high.

Worth the wait, though. The little bugger's adorable! Just don't choke on your coffee like I did when you actually get it.

Muckbreath was the last croc I needed to complete the set of crocs, and last night I got him.

I repeat It is very possible to get all four! But sadly, it is also possible to get doubles-- I have only encountered one double so maybe getting doubles isn't all that often

been doing fishing dailys since turning lvl 70, everyday - after wotlk release i visit terokkar forrest to see if the crok daily is available..been doing it every day, not a single crokodile dropped for me..none
i had the ring, the hat and everything else but no pet!

i hate this /cry

well theres a 20% chance that the daily is Crocks is the city and theres a 4% chance to get a companion like toothy, so you really only have a .8% chance to get a companion from doing the dailies.

According to www.warcraftpets.com "Drop rates for the pet Crocolisks have increased significantly, possibly as high as 50%, or 1 in 2!"

I've been doing Old Man Barlo's quests for two months, and I never got any croc. Last week I got Toothy twice, I think it's just bad luck :3.

I just did the Crocolisk quest for the fourth time and each time I got a different pet. So I am guessing they upped the drop rate for these cute little things. My drop rate was 100% for the pet, so not sure what they changed the drop rate to, but it seems pretty high to me!

just decided to start farming for theese 4. and on first day with the Quest, i got Toothy. The day after, it was still the same Quest, and i got Toothy again.. :/ wish i could trade 1 of em for another one :/

lol, 1st time doing Crocolisks in the City and Toothy dropped. I was ecstatic^^ then a friend told me he has 50% drop rate now, which kinda downed my mood -.- still a lovely and uncommon pet. looks so cute^^

Just did the Outland cooking and fishing dailies for the first time in months, and both dropped rare items (a recipe and Toothy). I suspect the drop rate has increased significantly.

Of all the 3 fishing bags i ever got from the quest "Crocolisks in the City" i always got a Crocodile ATM i got Chuck first then Muckbreath and now just 5 minutes ago i got Snarly. So it seems the drop rates are almost 100%

First Edit: I completed the quest 5-7 times now, still dont have Toothy!

Second Edit: Haven't got it 3 times in a row :S

Third Edit: atlast after doing the quest atleast 10 times i got Toothy Best of luck to all who attempts to get all of the 4 Crocolisks

Got mine on my very first Outland fishing quest today! I opened my bag and saw a bunch of junk fall out and was all "Oh well," and went to vendor all the trash. It was then that I noticed the bucket in there! Never been so excited about a pet drop! Normally, I have the WORST RNG luck ever. I guess today was just my lucky day!

EDIT: Got Chuck's Bucket doing the daily the next day, w00t!

was in terokkar trying to get mr pinchy, when after 2 hours i thought i remembered something about getting a croc pet from the daily, "crocodiles in the city" or something. went to check old man barlo, and he had the daily. did it, flew back, and got toothy.

.....i dont know if i should be happy that i got a pet today anyway, or upset it wasnt mr pinchy, or what.

i am really happy i got the pet though, 114 now :D

I am doing this quest for years in hope to get this 'lil buddy.
Almost every day trip to forest to check if this quest is up.
Got the rest of 3 crocks few years ago, but Toothy... Seems like he hates me :O(

Five of us did Crocolisks in the City last night trying for any of the pets. I was the only one that got one. I got Toothy. So drop rates are still low but not extremely low. With 4 different pets, each listed as 11 %, the odds of getting even one should be about 4 in 9. I had Chuck from earlier and know I haven't done that quest more that 10 times.
But since duplicates are possible, you need luck to get them all. I'm not sure if I envy or hate the ones who get all 4 in the first 4 times they do the quest. Probably a little of both.

I now have toothy. I was not really trying to get him either, regardless that it was the only one I did not have. I was wanting the + fishing line to improve my chances of getting magical crawdad lol.Any way I am not complaining I will settle for toothy :)
