I did the repeatable quest, Banish More Demons", today and received this bag as a reward. What was inside? Absolutely nothing.

So far, ive done the quest 3 times:

1x Dar Rune
1x Depleted Crystal Focus
1x Nothing (as in completely empty)

No joke, that is not working as intened. So Kronk gives you an empty sack for a reward, not likely. Glad there was a comment on this, I too have the dark rune so I can't get it from the bag.

As of patch 2.2 http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33784 - Darkrune Fragment now has a chance to drop from this bag

As of Patch 2.2, this item can now give a single Apexis Shard.
Unsure if this is a bug or another new possible reward, but I didn't see it noted elsewhere so I thought I''d mention it.

I've been working on these guys for a bit now (4.0.6) I've opened 12 bags and received no darkrunes or darkrune fragments. Is anyone else working on these guys post cataclysm and can confirm that they still drop and that I'm just super unlucky?

I'll update this if I do eventually find one.

Edit* I talked with a GM after my 18th bag about this and this was the important part of the conversion.

"GM: I've looked into this for you, and yes the items do appear to still drop out of the bag. ^.^ I actually went in and looked to make sure that there was still a chance they would.

Wowhead lists Darkrunes as no longer available within the game, as it is confirmed that the Shartuul event is no longer available. The only thing rewarded from Sacca di Kronk is a single Scheggia Apexis

For the record, now gives 15 + 1 Apexis shards. You get 15 and then 1 when you open it.
