As soon as you hit friendly with the Netherwing, you get this trinket.

It's a Netherwhelp that casts Arcane missiles. It does a single cast, single wave of missiles for 550 damage, then it starts casting again.

It does have a mana bar. Lasts for probably a minute and then it keels over, 10 minute cooldown.

Then you reach Honored you'll get http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32695 wich works everywhere even on BG's. YOu can trow away old green trinket coz they spare cooldown.

The dragon never gets better but at Honored u can use the trinket outside of Shadowmoon Valley and at Revered it gains 45 stamina.

While in Nagrand working on one of the dailies I decided to test this item out so I let him aggro a lv 70 mob with 7400 hp. I did nothing but stand there and he killed it entirely on his own while I was aggroed by an elite and after he finished the mob he still had time to help with the other mob, lol. This trinket is amazing!

I was expecting a big Netherdrake to come aid me... I actually laughed the first time I used this trinket.

I was clearing my bank out when I noticed I still had this, so I took it to Draenor out of curiosity.

Sadly, I can report that this only works in the Outland version of Shadowmoon Valley.

In terms of damage, not the most amazing of help.

But his/her HP seems to be fairly high as he/she can pretty much last the entire duration despite taking lots of damage.

It has never actually died on me, only expired. This continuous guaranteed damage boost is very nice.

Nothing complicated here. It doesn't tank and such. Just pure damage boost.

When levelling I use it for big pulls and until I get a decent trinket with an equip bonus for my main attribute.

I didn't ask for this trinket - it was an incidental along the way to our real goal of those lovely mounts. So as such, yeah, it might be useful at the time.
